  1. If KC remains the 1 seed....they get 2 weeks off The 2 & 3 seed Bills & Bengals have to face 6 and 7 seeds coming off a bye week to prepare for them..... This is a massive amount of upheaval because of 1 game. Not a fan
  2. The issue would be if they win they'll be 12-4 and if KC loses + BUF wins, the Bengals Bills game would be the determiner of the 1 seed
  3. Josh not being limited by the ankle is great news
  4. “At least that’s the current phrase that’s being thrown around, the current idea that’s being thrown around. Nothing has been determined officially yet but that’s the leader in the clubhouse right now, per a league office source.”
  5. KC's choice may depend on who the 7 seed is. If the Steelers sneak in, KC says we'll take Home Field and play Wild Card. If the Dolphins get in and Tua was able to play, KC elects the Bye
  6. We'd still have to beat NE to have the #2 seed, assuming Cincy beats Baltimore
  7. Well, Stidham might make that possible for us. I think the Raiders will play tough
  8. They win the AFC North without having to do anything else.... This is in the event KC and BUF both win this weekend. Both would have 3 losses. CIN has 4.
  9. Fine, then split the benefits of the 1 seed. Chiefs get to pick what they want. The Bye or Home Field throughout. They likely choose the Bye. We'll take Home Field.
  10. I would prefer they didn't. The other teams would all be given a bye week
  11. What do you suppose he means by lack of equity in this case....
  12. Well one thing is for sure, a Bills Bengals only game of the weekend would have insane ratings. KC Loss + CIN Win + BUF Win = the game would literally be for the 1 seed. Include the Ravens. A no contest ruling means Baltimore can't win AFC North
  13. They may want to see how much the result of the Bills Bengals game will impact the Ravens and Chiefs first before deciding whether to play the game / how to determine an outcome
  14. They may want to wait until after week 18. If they do something now, it will effect how multiple games are played. Bengals would already have won their division with a "No contest" or Win I still say Coin Flip, best of 3 is fair
  15. It was clarified this morning from his family spokesperson that there may have been miscommunication and he was resuscitated once, not twice
  16. Would have to think the entire team will be in meetings with open dialogue from anyone who wishes to speak. As Hamlin continues to heal (we pray), the team having gone through this together will create a bond unlikely any other in the league. If I was a fan of another team, I would not want to face the Bills in the playoffs
  17. Hamlin is getting better....and the playoff seeding will matter.
  18. Well, this may help you feel a little better
  19. This all would have been much simpler if the Broncos or Texans had beaten the Chiefs
  20. The Bills players likely believe that Hamlin would want them to move forward with the season. If Hamlin continues to get better.....this team could be dangerous to face
  21. Waiting until Week 18 results may be what happens. - Ravens win over Bengals = Random Number Generator picks a game on Ravens schedule as "no contest" to see who wins AFC North (Otherwise, Bengals have already clinched their Division) - Bills win over Patriots & Chiefs win over Raiders = Random Number Generator picks a game on Chiefs schedule as "no contest" (Bills have 14/17 chance at 1 seed, or 15/17 if their win against the Chiefs is excluded)
  22. The teams playing in the Super Bowl then only have 1 week to rest and prepare..... Not to mention, the entire league gets a bye week before the playoffs.....except the Bills and Bengals
