Is Matakevich really good enough on ST to warrant a roster spot over someone like Spector? Doesn't he save us a few million in cap as well?
Edmunds, Milano, Dodson, Bernard, Spector- 1

Only changes I'd make is Morris over Sweeney and if OBJ signs maybe you trade Hodgins to the Giants. I don't think they cut Kumerow because of ST. Could also make a case for trading Crowder and keeping Hodgins for his size and he's finally able to show skills -

Especially if Mancz, Brown, and Doyle are not 100% I think we can bet on it. Whether or not it's true, based on preseason the Bills believe Hart can play both OT positions and G. And that's the OL: 5 starters, Mancz Brown Doyle and Hart.
Not really confident in the depth on paper....however they were excellent against Denver- 1

I will puke if Cook is only activated for 8-10 weeks. Guy needs to be active every week.
Agreed. He should be on the field a significant amount of plays each week. As in 50%, especially since his value is a mismatch as a pass catcher. I don't believe they would have drafted him that high if the thought was MAYBE he can help us. He's a few steps up from TJ Yeldon or Breida..... -

Well, this is probably his last year in a Bills uniform so I think a lot of it depends on what or who you are getting back.
Any player suggestions? Trevon Diggs and move him to safety hahaha? -

Welcome to the NYG, Isaiah Hodgins
He could be traded to the Giants when OBJ signs -
Von posted 2 different OBJ pics one with Blue Bills, one with White Bills jersey. Used the song "what's next" with the eyes emoji.
Beane mentioning they are restructuring someone to free cap space probably isn't a coincidence.

If the Bills restructure let’s say Tredavious’s deal at add another 6.5 million in cap space do you think it’s money for next year, an extension for Edmunds or Poyer or to bring in another higher priced player in a trade.
I'm good with that idea. I would restructure Tre since he's worked his tail off to come back. Reward him with $$$ then a Poyer extension with good amount of guaranteed $$$$. That would really boost team morale. You could look to acquire a player. Personally I wouldn't mind another good veteran DE via trade. I don't have enough confidence in anyone after Von and Greg. I wanted to sign Carlos Dunlap. We should also add OBJ

I'll take that season outcome. Milloy wasn't a trade though. New England released him and we signed him.
Moving arguably your best defensive player right before the season sends the wrong message to everyone on the team. I suspect our team is a lot closer off the field than the Patriots were. -

Cook as Sal said is week to week. Games we need his skills he’s #2, and Moss on other weeks. I think they dial up Moss and Cook week by week based on opponents strengths.
Sal was on point how we handle the 2 activated as they won’t activate 3.
We now have what we always wanted. A workhorse, a banger for short yardage, and a pad catching shifty guy. Those are our guys. Any hopes of Blackshear on the active roster won’t happen.
All 3 should be activated weekly- 2

Pretty much looks like what we’ve been told so far. Stacked seating, totally enclosed and coverings over the top deck. Seating is about the same. Ron Raccuia Stated it wil be between 62-63K fixed seats and 3k standing.66,000 capacity is a lot better than 60k

Howard can likely make more impact by only being on the field in the redzone than Sweeney will make all season. I'd keep Morris if we want a 3rd TE and look to trade Sweeney to the Giants. Morris looks good blocking and may be underrated as a pass catcher

OBJ or no one

Hopefully it's OJ Howard. I wonder if Beane packages the found money from the Ford trade to dispose of Howard's contract.
I don't get it....the guy is a huge target in the redzone and looked solid against Denver. I would prefer to keep him as TE2 -
Assuming the Bills keep 7 WR
Diggs
Davis
McKenzieShakir
Crowder
Hodgins
Kumerow
*Add OBJ and Kumerow is released- 2

12 for WR is right on the money IMO.
Diggs and Davis are both likely to hit the 1,000 mark

I just thought of something:
Say that it's true that Dane Jackson is holding it down and Benford and Elam are neck and neck. If so, I feel a lot better about putting White on PUP for 4 weeks
Not happening, Tre will be ready before that

I was hoping they'd give him more of a look. I saw him blocking on those short runs by Blackshear.
He never really got a chance unless he didn't show anything in camp

James is 4 or 5 years younger so really it's not the same situation....
Poyer for 2 or 3 at 12-13 mil per with lots of guaranteed $ seems fair
-
Pretty pathetic by the NFL in this whole process. He should have been immediately suspended indefinitely and at least for 1 full season.
Calvin Ridley places a few bets and gets a full season? This clown has how many women making claims against him?NFL probably saw $$$ when thinking about "fans having a villain to root against"

Moss is a good pass blocker, I do think his power/toughness is overrated. He just doesn't excite me. I guess he was decent as a receiving back. Hopefully he proves me wrong when given the chance
Singletary was good down the stretch last year he was playing like a top 10 back for half a dozen games. -

I'm interested to see what the Bills envision Cook as.
They've tried to cheaply address a pass-catching running back with veterans - TJ Yeldon, Matt Breida, signing JD McKissic.
But there is no evidence that pass-catching RB's are a big part of the Bills offense. And why would I want that? Josh Allen dumping down more?
I don't want the 2019 Carolina Panthers, where Christian McCaffery was their offense. Catching 116 passes, running the ball 287 times. It's the Saints dilemma now with Alvin Kamara dominating touches. It's 2007-2008 Buffalo Bills pop-gun football.
The Bills got better immediately last year when they benched Moss, and picked the correct RB (Singletary) and fed him the ball when the chose to run.
I certainly don't either (although adding him via trade would be quite interesting)
There are a lot of advantageous matchups if Cook can be motioned out wide/run routes like he did in college. Also Allen dumping off to Cook on screens could really add to our YAC and it also eliminates Josh taking extra punishment while running.
I know Josh's legs are a huge asset....but ideally we could limit that at least somewhat and then catch opposing defenses in the playoffs by UNLEASHING him to run 15 times per game- 1
-
I thought he looked fairly slow in the open field?
Hopefully James Cook is 90% of his brother
I'd trade Moss for a 4th if any team is desperate for an RB
Something to ponder.....the Bills supposedly offered a trade for Christian McCaffrey and Panthers said no.
If Carolina is tanking by the deadline.....we'd have to get creative but this team adding OBJ and McCaffrey for the stretch run would be quite something
Moss, a 2nd and a 5th should be enough. your RB's next year would be
McCaffrey
CookBlackshear
