    he looked EXTREMELY dangerous on those punt returns. He had rocket fuel boost short area quickness that looked twice as fast as what he had shown to this point he should be getting screens and jet sweeps at the very least

    I don't agree with it either.....but the whole Elam situation is weird. Guy played well last year against Miami in the playoffs Still ends up as CB3/4 in camp. Didn't look good against Jacksonville. Refs know he has a penchant for excessive holding too

    despite him showing in camp he had immediate chemistry with Allen, and he has speed we badly need... the staff hasn't "had long enough to trust his process" that would be my guess
