  1. Didn’t we struggle this year when Knox was out of the lineup?
  2. not even close to Hopkins level of player. I could see Keenan Allen being someone that becomes available. Not a big fan of the guy personally, though he’s a quality WR if we’re going after a veteran not currently a UFA, I’d target Cortland Sutton for a mid round pick. Tyler Lockett is another one who could become available. Rumored to be a cut candidate would save SEA 17 million
  3. didn’t Baker clock in as one of the fastest WR’s at the senior bowl. At top speed anyway
  4. I think combination of Gabe wasn’t utilized to his strengths + his ankles get dinged up every season. Frustrating player. Hard to believe he’s only 24
  5. I’m good with this. If we do sign him, I’ll pretend he never played for Carolina haha Chinn and Curtis Samuel make a lot of sense for us sigh. When is the phreting over the cap going to end? 30 million in space which is absolutely doable for us is plenty of room to make moves. How much did we have last season? We kept signing veteran players
  6. I’m really tired of this take. All signings have risks. Miller was making the entire defense better and getting to the QB at a high level until he tore his acl. It’s not like we signed him and he suddenly became Aaron Maybin
  7. The Bills COULD improve while trading Diggs. KC traded Tyreek and everyone thought they were going to take 2 steps back. Instead they won 2 SB’s
  8. it’s a real possibility, but I think we’d have to include a mid round pick next year and a late rounder this year. Some combination like that along with Diggs in order to get a 1st Houston and Dallas are both teams that I can see doing this. Jones already said he’s “going all in” and Texans may want a veteran for Stroud (+rumors about this already) 23rd or 24th overall for Diggs + 3rd in 25 + 6th this year seems like a fair trade IMO While not likely, if this were to happen…. we could walk out of Round 1 with 2 of Brian Thomas Jr / Troy Franklin / Legette In addition to that….maybe you get super lucky and the Colts let Pittman hit UFA. In his prime, put up quality production with bottom tier QB play. Already has a friendship with Allen. A 5 year 100 mil deal + void years can make the cap hit for the next few years fairly low. Pittman seems to catch everything. We badly need more of that Pittman Jr. Brian Thomas Jr Troy Franklin Shakir now if Diggs stays, I’d still TRY to acquire a quality WR on the market or via trade & I would still draft WR in Round 1 + another in Round 2-4
  9. Never know with their owner, but very true
  10. & that is from below avg QB play! Just hitting his prime no you wouldn’t need to clear 60 million. Give him a 5 year deal for 100 Million. + void years. Can lower the hit to 10 million or so for 2024 if you want it’s possible Josh Allen will at least mention him to Beane as someone he’d like since they are friends I don’t expect it to happen. Would be interesting though! We can at least invest multiple high picks at the position if we don’t land an impactful WR via UFA/Trade
  11. I don’t expect him to sign here. But, if he did I think it would be very impactful for playoff games
  12. Derrick Henry would help this team make the SB
  13. Not dominate but it would certainly help them
  14. in what reality are those 3 players better than Chris Jones? Guess they factor in age….but still
  15. it can if the Bills want it to. This can give us the opportunity to at least pursue a higher level of UFA’s. Cap hits can be spread out with void years. An extra 13 mil is 1 or 2 starters depending on position
  16. getting Sweat and Carter would be quite nasty!
  17. Not sure how unpopular it is, but we need to take some big swings on Offense.
  18. We didn’t sign any high priced vets last year? Certainly not on offense. Beane’s goal (if Diggs stays) should be Mike Evans / Michael Pittman Jr / Trade if you miss on those, at least get Curtis Samuel or Darnell Mooney who are instant upgrades from Sherfield as a floor with potential to be very impactful. AND regardless you get a WR in Round 1 + another in Round 2-4
  19. I would wait on Von. If he gets his confidence back he can still be an impact player for us
  20. Hahaha don’t worry, I’m sure the Bills have someone with a green visor counting the pennies that can be completely disregarded! we are going on a SPENDING SPREE baby Park Place & Boardwalk! Then pass GO, collect 200 million and do it all over again🤣 Castor Troy for Asst GM! Spend that $$$ baby. Wrong movie oh well haha In bleak reality this just makes it more likely Beane shells out 17 mil a year to keep Gabe Davis
  21. if the cap keeps going up, dead hits are much less impactful
  22. no it’s not? After June it’s a 7.4 mil hit. They save around 19 million for the summer
  23. Now that this is official, the next 3 weeks around the league will be entertaining
  24. I wonder if the Bills would do something like this with anyone
  25. IMO I'd rather try to land Mike Evans or Michael Pittman Jr than go after an expensive safety. The market is going to be flooded with starting safeties. We should be able to get someone like J. Chinn, Brandon Jones or Mike Edwards for a reasonable amount
