  1. I would no doubt 100% trade him for Mahomes in a second, but, I am incredibly happy he is my starting QB and hope it stays that way for 10+ years. *edit - this was in response to OP saying " It's obviously close with Mahomes, but I wouldn't trade them if I could, and I like to believe I'm judging that objectively."
  2. I'm also nervous about how the RB's outside Motor can run in this. Looked at Hines career log and he's never played in snow (unless I missed it), Cook is obviously a wildcard, and Motor has had fumbling issues in "conditions". I hope Gilliam is able to play in all honesty.
  3. Just traveled from VA to DET for the thanksgiving game....drove it all. Wasn't too too bad (and the win helped)
  4. I remember it growing up at games in the 2002-2012 era. Can't remember it from the home games I've been to since moving away from the area but that's only one a year or so. I found this link on youtube that KIND OF has the look and feel it did. I would want something like this with more bass and sound effects, and removing the subliminal tree messages lol. but along the lines of this is what I remember. Someone want to mash this up into a bills vid?
  5. I just want them to bring back the running buffalo stampede video before kickoff. That use to get me so hyped. Edit- I can't find it anywhere on YouTube either and I've been searching for years.
  6. Diggs Davis Knox Bease McKenzie Shakir Brown Davis has a 20 tgt lead on the next closest guy and I don't see that changing especially down the stretch (even though he exhibits rock hands). FWIW I would probably slot the combo of Singletary/Hines/Cook in ahead of McKenzie but behind Bease. In a gm where Allen attempts ~30 throws, I'd expect targets to look like Diggs(9), Davis (5), Knox(4), Bease(4), RB's(3), McK/Shak(3), and 1-2 shots deep to Brown. Something like that.
  7. Appreciate the followup - good to know! Josh asking and receiving his weapons back could be just the medicine this Offense needed. Hopeful.
  8. I gotcha now. Yeah there really wasn't anybody else out there unless you wanted to swoop in on TY hilton or risk it with OBJ. A familiar face that can get open especially in the middle with Bease has me more excited than brown or even OBJ (if he truly wasnt 100% ready). I truly wonder if this was a Beane idea or if Josh asked for it like Rodgers did with Cobb.
  9. I'm all for Bease coming back. Should open up the middle of the field again. As much as they've failed to address WR in the offseason, it seems they're going all in on trying to patch it up - even if that means bringing in a guy that I'm sure isn't on the top of McD's "fav Lockeroom guys" list.
  10. Tied at 1 with Kelce and Valdes from KC at 6...maybe the era of the improvising QB's is over? /s
  11. 7 Sacks on the year just noticed that. He's been great when in. I love that he exploits his size (6'7) and it's so noticeable out there. Might be one of those freak talents if he can keep on this pace. Would be huge given the Miller loss if he can step up here in the next 5-8 weeks.
  12. More worried about the cap hit for future than winning this year...still think it's very possible
  13. Just. Keep. Winning.
  14. I think he's absolutely god awful. Between voice squeaks, too much (or too little) excitement at times, not knowing the result of plays (catch vs not etc.) he's basically unlistenable for me. Not that I listen to games on radio but all replays on WGR and from national are tough listens. I'd put him fractionally ahead of Rob Ray lol
  15. That makes the endzone allen fumble feel much much better! *still crying in corner
  16. I didnt wear my jersey yesterday
  17. I would start by maybe blitzing an immobile QB to force more passes into severely inexperienced DB's who struggle to cover. That would be a pretty easy start. But Frazier will die on the "I dont blitz" hill for some reason.
  18. Perplexed 11-6
  19. The D has been decimated with injuries but I'm still so confused as to the plan and the play of the guys up front. Oliver, Miller, Epenesa, Phillips, Lawson, Settle, and Boogie and NOBODY can get pressure enough to make plays or force throws? And Leslie and sean (the D whisperer) dont have the brains to maybe adjust the scheme or plan when 6 defensive back/lb's are out? It's mind blowing no adjustments have been made there. Will probably throw a 1st round pick there again next year thinking that'll solve it...
  20. can you post a screengrab or link? didnt see that (might regret wanting to)
  21. dont forget about the Gillette commercial too /s
  22. "With McDermott’s Bills, they learn tough lessons, vow to fix it and be better, and then continue to make the same mistakes over and over in close games. Rinse, repeat." Saw this on twitter and couldnt agree more...
  23. I love allen but fumbling a snap in the endzone is peterman level bad....not to mention the 2 picks in the redzone. What more does this kid have to do wrong to have you accept that hes capable of blowing a game? It's almost all on him today (frazier, D, injuries, play calling close runner ups).
  24. Haha I feel your pain buddy. I wound up watching the final Q and OT in a local DC bar (stopped in to pickup food) with 5 people in it, and 1 was a diehard vikings fan. I mean what are the odds of that? I'm not going to stop watching or following them but losses like this and in this fashion are unfathomable. And of course all my NFL friends texting me "OMG" and "I cant believe this" during the last Q and OT doesnt help....it sucks to be the BFLO guy in a different city but oh well. I understand your pain and frustration completely, and I won't be the guy that says "but it will feel so great when we finally do win". Maybe just give it a week or two off. I won't say "good riddance" or "bye" like some stubborn folks here either...It sucks to feel this way. You'll bounce back.
