    Had no hope this was gonna work out, and now I went from a 6 to a 9 on the concern level for the defense.

    No, but on Saturday (after Hamlin and Bishop looked awful) posters with concerns were spoken to like they were nuts. And now the HC says he doesn't have the position figured out yet. I can't think of one other superbowl contender in a similar spot right now.

    The last time Gabe was here he had 14 total catches in the final 9 games. Then went to Jax and had 20 in 9 games. That coupled with injuries makes him unreliable and if you think Beane wants to bring him in at this point with the expectation he would outperform Palmer, yes, it would be alarming.

    There were 10 Safeties drafted from rounds 2-5 last year. All of them are solidified starters now except Bishop and Dadrion Taylor-Demerson.

    Would dip in blue cheese just for you. Funny side story - I bet my ravens buddy a few years back (first bills ravens playoff game here with the Taron pick six) bills win and loser had to eat a hat of the other team. He boiled it down to a soup and ate a cup of it and that was totally worth it.

    I loved Hamlins story and appreciate the high end pick on Bishop, but we are a Taylor Rapp injury away from being completely devoid of talent in the deep secondary. I will physically eat my Hamlin jersey if this happens
