  1. Yeah, but look at the coaches of those teams. All 3 are superior to McD, they will exploit the Bills' weaknesses
  2. I agree, the D is most certainly over rated. You play what your schedule gives you- I think it's unfortunate the AFC East is basically horrible now. It's a lot like when the Patriots had their run...no competition. Playoff time will be interesting. I'd actually be concerned facing teams like Denver & Pittsburgh because of the veteran coach angle with Payton & Tomlin. The Bills are more talented, sure, but I'm concerned. We would match up better with Baltimore, it would probably be a game like today with little D. They'll end up a 2 or 3 seed, but IMHO the AFC is a lot more wide open. We really want the SB but it's going to be tougher than ever to get there.
  3. Well that might be true, yet Stafford outdueled him. JA missed a few throws in the 1st half, which always comes back to haunt you in a shootout type game.
  4. Don't look now, but the Bills are getting "KC" refs today, wow. Calling PI on both the WR & defender....never saw that ever
  5. Pitt has the refs, for 50 years at least. No way the Bills win if it's played in Pitt
  6. Yep. The Steelers did that to Winston 4 or 5 times, only got flagged once.
  7. NCAA football & the playoff committee. While most games are entertaining, the rankings system is flawed. Alabama will make the playoffs with 3 losses- that alone is a joke. Penn St. at #4, wow & how? Money has destroyed CFB slowly over the past 20 years.
  8. Yes, he indeed does. A lot of QBs did the "fake running out of bounds" thing, even as far back into the 70s. Joe Montana did it more than anybody.
  9. Right now, McD reminds me of Marty Schottenheimer. Great motivator, gets you to the playoffs, yet somehow comes up short. Maybe this is the year the Bills win it. Maybe not. So many factors to consider, and sometimes it's not the coach. Schottenheimer couldn't get past Elway, but there was a fumble on the goal line, another loss was in OT where one could argue the FG was no good. McD had the team flat vs Cincy, & the 13 seconds thing is truly one of the worst playoff losses in NFL history. Those 2 games will always linger, even if they end up winning one (or several). Despite that, I'm glad he's here.
  10. That's how I feel as well. Say what you will about D Watson, because he definitely seems like a pompous scumbag, but none of his troubles would have come out if he didn't refuse to play for Houston. They enabled his behavior.
  11. The one penalty on defense that definitely needs to be eliminated is calling Offside. The D used to be able to jump back onsides, unless contact was made.
  12. Rooney's have owned NFL refs for 50+ years
  13. Once again everybody, stop being "fan scared" of the Ratbirds. Their D is absolutely atrocious.
  14. Kramer vs Kramer. A sappy one๐Ÿคฃ
  15. Thoughts ( a few)... A) I really hate when fans B word about opponents' schedules. We all know the NFL's system, which is pretty good IMHO. Schedules rotate, & it's luck of the draw. The Broncos are taking advantage of it, they are improved. B) Don't be concerned with playing the Ratbirds in the playoffs. They might win one game, but they aren't strong enough on D to be taken seriously. C) Chargers- could be dangerous, but unproven. Great coach. Might sneak into my "D" category below. Let's see if they can score points tonight against a horrible defensive team. D) KC, Buffalo, & Pittsburgh are the only real contenders in the AFC. Yep, Pittsburgh lol. They play D, & have a decent coach. They're overdue ( I hate em) for playoff success. Saying all that, of course the injury bug could effect any team. Look at SF yesterday.
  16. It's weird Bills mafia fears Cincy now. They stink on D, despite a great QB/WR combo. They won't get in in 2024.
  17. Probably. He delayed the game quite a bit anyway. So glad it ended up biting him in the dupa
  18. I could be wrong, but I think he's implementing a "learn how to win" mentality. Their WRs aren't as strong as year's past, McConkey is very good though.
  19. They've been one, yes. Brandon Staley has been replaced by cheatin' Jim Harbaugh though. They play D & run the ball. A pretty good QB as well.
  20. Texans will be one & done no matter who they play. The Chargers are kind of scary. I wouldn't be shocked if they made it to the AFC Title game.
  21. How many times is a coach "allowed" to change his mind? Sorry, that whole scene reeked of "a fix," glad the Browns overcame that BS.
  22. Probably something like that. Notice 5 of the 7 are pretty strong defensively ( Houston is more of an " outscore you" team IMHO, the Ratbirds shockingly stink on D). I have a feeling the Chargers move up. They've bought in to Harbaugh ( the cheater) and could be a real tough-out for any team.
