  1. Nothing was worse than the 70s Steelers or Broncos.
  2. Two drops, then poof 1st down Kelce.
  3. The Browns fans are awesome, too bad their owner might be an all-time top 3 idiot. Well, I'm still waiting on Jaclyn Smith to repond to my love letter I wrote in 1978🤣
  4. Exactly. The BYE would be nice, but it's probably gone now. We all thought getting KC at home last year would do the trick, nope. It's all about playing well on game day.
  5. Ah....the good ole days
  6. Well I'm going to sound like a non Bills fan if I answer that with my opinion, and this will go on forever. JA will eventually win a SB. It won't be this year. Let's leave it at that. It's like an Elway situation where he has to get the whole roster in synch.
  7. Not really. It's a message board, opinions will differ. I rolled the eyes because one could argue Mahomes made Kelce. Hill is pure speed, so he'd even look good with JP Losman. Watkins? Didn't the Bills send him to KC? That makes no sense. Kelce's career took off with Mahomes, not that he was a slouch with Alex Smith. It's ok to acknowledge greatness on non-Bills players. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KelcTr00.htm
  8. Well, that HOF coach only reached the SB with Marino once. One of the strangest things in NFL history. That illustrates how hard it is to get there, let alone win it.
  9. Yeah, the barefoot kicker's FG was wide left in Cleveland in OT. The NFL wanted Pat Bowlen in the SB
  10. I agree about scheme, but 14 weeks into the season, it is what it is. Unlikely to change a whole lot. The division is wrapped up, so they really should employ new wrinkles. They're either a 2 or 3 seed, so they have leeway to implement changes...will they?
  11. Yeah, great point in the last paragraph. Those kind of numbers & blowing it are usually reserved for the Raiders, Jets, or Browns. Please, no "one & done" in the playoffs. But I can see it😢
  12. Yeah, but look at the coaches of those teams. All 3 are superior to McD, they will exploit the Bills' weaknesses
  13. I agree, the D is most certainly over rated. You play what your schedule gives you- I think it's unfortunate the AFC East is basically horrible now. It's a lot like when the Patriots had their run...no competition. Playoff time will be interesting. I'd actually be concerned facing teams like Denver & Pittsburgh because of the veteran coach angle with Payton & Tomlin. The Bills are more talented, sure, but I'm concerned. We would match up better with Baltimore, it would probably be a game like today with little D. They'll end up a 2 or 3 seed, but IMHO the AFC is a lot more wide open. We really want the SB but it's going to be tougher than ever to get there.
  14. Well that might be true, yet Stafford outdueled him. JA missed a few throws in the 1st half, which always comes back to haunt you in a shootout type game.
  15. Don't look now, but the Bills are getting "KC" refs today, wow. Calling PI on both the WR & defender....never saw that ever
  16. Pitt has the refs, for 50 years at least. No way the Bills win if it's played in Pitt
  17. Yep. The Steelers did that to Winston 4 or 5 times, only got flagged once.
  18. NCAA football & the playoff committee. While most games are entertaining, the rankings system is flawed. Alabama will make the playoffs with 3 losses- that alone is a joke. Penn St. at #4, wow & how? Money has destroyed CFB slowly over the past 20 years.
  19. Yes, he indeed does. A lot of QBs did the "fake running out of bounds" thing, even as far back into the 70s. Joe Montana did it more than anybody.
  20. Right now, McD reminds me of Marty Schottenheimer. Great motivator, gets you to the playoffs, yet somehow comes up short. Maybe this is the year the Bills win it. Maybe not. So many factors to consider, and sometimes it's not the coach. Schottenheimer couldn't get past Elway, but there was a fumble on the goal line, another loss was in OT where one could argue the FG was no good. McD had the team flat vs Cincy, & the 13 seconds thing is truly one of the worst playoff losses in NFL history. Those 2 games will always linger, even if they end up winning one (or several). Despite that, I'm glad he's here.
  21. That's how I feel as well. Say what you will about D Watson, because he definitely seems like a pompous scumbag, but none of his troubles would have come out if he didn't refuse to play for Houston. They enabled his behavior.
  22. The one penalty on defense that definitely needs to be eliminated is calling Offside. The D used to be able to jump back onsides, unless contact was made.
  23. Rooney's have owned NFL refs for 50+ years
