  1. Steelers "fans" are only fans when they win. Biggest bandwagonners on the planet.
  2. We've all yelled at our TV or in the stadium in that situation.
  3. This is what I'm referring to. High risk, high rewards I suppose. Jumping and reaching on the goal line, whether by the QB or RB is playing with fire. If the ball squirts out of the end zone, well I have no problem rewarding the defense with a turnover.
  4. Put those two sentences together....."Players also lose the ball while reaching is stupid." Don't defend stupidity. Ball security is truly important as we know.
  5. The defense forced a fumble, or the defense took advantage of an offensive player's butterfingers. The defense ultimately needs to defend the goal line, so there's that. Defense matters. There's already enough rules favoring the offense, as many others have noted.
  6. Yes, this right here!!! I absolutely can't stand it when a player reaches for that pylon/endline in traffic. The player is asking for trouble....so why reward a risky play?
  7. Yeah, I'm just thinking "marketability." I don't know if a Falcons-Titans game would excite Brazil, for example lol.
  8. NFC gets the 9 home games next year, so the top candidates could be Dallas & the 49ers
  9. Easy? This entire season is crazy. The only "easy" is Carolina.
  10. Sadness is near 😥
  11. I thought it was 6😥
  12. Not me, but as far as I'm concerned, Pittsburgh needs to simply go away for 30 years😀
  13. "Was it over when the German's bombed Pearl Harbor?"🤣
  14. I particularly remember ESPN interviewing McD on a Thursday, asking him what the Bills' backup plan was as the storm was near. I was like "why aren't you guys outta here yet?" It was similar to people who won't evacuate from a hurricane....but they aren't multi-millionaires in a multi-billion dollar league. Truly an odd situation that the Bills benefited greatly from (although they were losing early on in Detroit).
  15. Snowstorm, outdoor game moved indoors to Detroit. Honestly, that was the biggest favor to the Bills in franchise history. I haven't bitched about much since, really. Pittsburgh & Washington were available. They stuck it to Cle because of the Watson contract IMHO.
  16. Yep. Money talks so much in Texas that they convinced the NFL to let the Texans off scott free in the Watson case, minus the "salary cap" violation and stripping them of a 5th round pick. Watson's a scumbag. Miller's a scumbag. Let's see what happens.
  17. Wonder if he'll get 11 games like Watson?
  18. That's the thing in the salary cap era. The Bills aren't alone in chasing an aged vet, overpaying because they think they're close to the pinnacle. Where the Bills erred I think, was basically standing pat while Miami & the NYJets snuck up on 'em in the division. Yeah, maybe Rodgers would have gotten killed later in the year by that woeful O-line, but they WENT for it like the Bills did with Von.
  19. Those AFC South games have no feel. Just my opinion, it's the most "blah" division in football. Regarding the original post....never, ever root for losses. The NFL draft is an inexact science where ALL 32 teams pretty much botch most of their picks, and hit on a few.
  20. I think it was Donovan McNabb, after Philly & the BenGals tied. Hating tOSU & scUM. Interesting.
