  1. Yes!!! Thom Darden Roger Wehrli....wait he was inducted 2007
  2. Greed greed & more greed. The only good news that may come of this is the possibility that we can pay for select games on a streaming service in the future, which would be better than the NFL Sunday Ticket package.
  3. Eric Metcalf Brian Mitchell
  4. Kevin Greene Troy Polomalu There's simply way too many Steelers in the HOF. If Polomalu didn't have that long mane of hair, nobody would know who he was.
  5. I hate opening a season against a division opponent. It shouldn't ever happen.
  6. Yet to be seen if the Browns made a monumental mistake. I get it, the Browns have a horrible track record, but they did what they thought they had to do. Lurking beneath their reputation is a pretty decent football team, & if Watson can shake the cobwebs off the Browns will definitely be a factor in the AFC this season.
  7. Yeah, like the back-to-back Detroit games.
  8. The red bold is a big part of what made BB & the Pats great. The other thing that sometimes gets brushed under the rug, is that sometimes you just have a team's number. Some of those Steelers teams were very very good, but they simply couldn't beat the Patriots. Colts & Chargers as well.
  9. All 32 teams basically play Russian Roulette with the salary cap. It's a gamble on many levels. Let's face it, continuity is very hard in today's NFL. Letting go of productive players is real tough, but teams do it all the time.
  10. The NFL tried to help us out though- moving a game into a dome that involved 2 outdoor teams, and potentially a game in Atlanta (a dome) with another two outdoor teams. The Bills didn't come through.
  11. Total extortion. NFL is so greedy, takes advantage of the fan bases. Ticket money & PSL money are just gravy after the TV deals. Ticket Revenue
  12. He's clearly the best QB in the league. It's very possible that when he hangs it up, he'll be a top 3 QB of all time. Its always hard to accept great players on other teams, especially when your team is so close to being a champion.
  13. Football was invented in Canton, Ohio fyi
  14. Yep. Crazy to think about it this way, but most NFL games come down to making about 4 or 5 critical plays each game. The teams that make them more often end up 13-3, 12-5, while the ones who don't end up 4-13, 7-10, etc. Every season half the playoff teams from the prior season don't make it, and half make it from the outside. The talent level is so close among the 32 teams it's not funny. It's the teams with the top QBs who rarely fade out of it....the Bills should be ok next year unless Allen goes down.
  15. Yeah I agree, although I think the choke job was last year, even more than the SB losses of the past. This year wasn't really a choke. One could argue though that the NFL tried to help the Bills a tad, with the neutral site games etc. Bottom line is they were overhyped and we bought it😑
  16. Maybe. The Bills faced Cle in a dome, and fortunately the Browns aren't well coached- they controlled the entire 1st half until a fumble by their QB. Cle outgained us that day as well behind Jacoby Brissett. Another AFC North team, the Ratbirds coughed up the game vs the Bills with 2 Lamar INTs. I don't think the Bills are that far off, as 4 straight playoff appearances show that. They just lose the trenches vs physical type teams.
  17. With the exception of the early season beat down of Pittsburgh, sadly the Bills don't match up to the AFC North style of football. I'm convinced they would have handled the Chargers, if the Chargers didn't gag vs Jax. May have even handled the Chiefs in the AFC title game (if KC would have beaten Cincy). So to me Cincy is/was a bad matchup. Philly or the 49ers would have done another 27-10 ish thing to the Bills in the Super Bowl. The Bills aren't a physical team. It is what it is.
  18. Bingo. Man, this sucks. No excuses, the Bills fell flat on their faces.
  19. Yeah, those were some truly terrible quotes. We're all gassed, from working 40+hours a week, from following an underachieving team. A bunch of excuses coming from some players, and somebody needs to "B word slap" Diggs for walking out on his team. Yep, unless Josh Allen starts pointing fingers at his team mates like Jim Kelly did, there is no comparison.
  20. Yep. I think they begged the league to move the Browns game to Detroit, instead of another outdoor venue that was available. Then, the dome in Atlanta that never happened. Hate to say it, last season WAS the SB season & they blew it.
  21. I suppose playing NE & the NYJets twice skew the points allowed numbers. Sometimes matchups aren't kind. I think if the Chargers hung on last week, the Bills win a high scoring game this past weekend. Instead, you get the BenGals who have to play 6 games in the rugged AFC North. Yeah, the D got pushed around yesterday but I still can't believe the Bills only scored 10 points...that's way below their average.
  22. The Bills presently are constructed like a Big 12 team, where the goal is to outscore the opponent. They're not alone in this philosophy, plenty of other teams do so. Doesn't mean it's correct. Get a better interior D line for starters. The BenGals exposed that weakness. The Chiefs would have as well.
  23. Way too early AFC East 2023 predictions: Bills 10-6-1 NYJets 10-7 Miami 9-8 NE 8-8-1
  24. Yes & no. Forgive me if this comparison is weird....the Browns. Maybe even the Raiders. Browns had the "it factor" in 2020. They still have a good roster, they're not far off. They kick Cincy's a$$ but can't beat the NFC South lol. The Raiders are a coach away from 11-6. The Bills have a lot of positives, don't give up. The Bills, hey they can still dominate the AFC East, that alone is a quick path to the playoffs. Miami is schizoid, the Jets need a QB, and the Pats aren't that good.
  25. Tackling in the NFL generally sucks today. It's not unique to the Bills.
