Rob Lytle's fumble ruled a TD & Karlis' missed FG in AFC Championships in the 1980s as well. Fast forward to replay though...is it really any better? They totally robbed Dez Bryant & the Cowboys at Green Bay, Tom Brady's "tuck rule," I just think it's way worse now. But I hear you, they really can't back track now, they're in too deep.

Eliminate replay as an officiating tool and watch the quality go back up. It's pretty simple. Nobody here is going to perform well at their job with somebody shadowing their every move. Replay ruined officiating.

Since the early 1990s there was college football on Thursday & still is.While it usually wasn't a marquee matchup, it's still football, and I watched. The smaller conferences like the MAC even play on Tuesdays & Wednesdays now. Goodell, Jerry Jones, Kraft, Kroenke...these guys pushed for it & got it. If you can't see it's not Sunday quality NFL football then I'm sorry. Yeah, there are lemons on Sunday as well, but I think you know what I mean. Just because every NFL team has to play a Thursday game in the name of "competitive balance" doesn't mean it's a good idea.

I doubt they would have used a TO there, as Denver was in "firedrill mode" to get the kick off. That was squarely on the ST coach & captain. These guys practice this stuff routinely (you would think). Maybe, just maybe somebody got hurt on a prior XP/FG attempt in the game and there was no communication on who was supposed to be out there. Inexcusable, they KNEW Denver was driving for the FG attempt.

Watson is no saint, that's a given. Funny how after DW had a hissy fit regarding the Texans new GM, & said he wouldn't play for them, all this came out in the public eye. Where there's smoke, there's fire. You may have missed it (somehow), but it wasn't just a one-time event in a hotel. It was ongoing. Teams go to great lengths to protect their players, until the player/team relationship is ruined. They enabled him, got off due to public perception on DW's creepy habits. Be better.
