  1. Probably, but the Steelers are in full quit mode. Never thought I'd ever say that.
  2. True. I'd add McCaffrey & Garrett to that as well.
  3. It's "the Steeler Way" Cheap shots since 1972. Donnie Shell, roid-rage Harrison, even Hines Ward.
  4. The Bills are the better team right now for sure. I just don't think the national media reports the whole story on all the teams, just the "name teams." A Bills-Browns AFC title game would be epic. Battle of Lake Erie, two long suffering fan bases.
  5. Fraud(ish). Hmm. Handed the 49ers their 1st loss. Beat the Ratbirds in Baltimore. 7-3 in the AFC. Yeah, they're banged up but you gotta give credit where credit is due. They showed a graphic yesterday that 26% of their opening day squad is on IR. That's one tough, resilient team.
  6. Patriots did it in 1986. I think the Steelers & Cardinals in 2009.
  7. He's not an elite pocket passer, yes. But look at tonight....first half he made quite a few plays from the pocket.
  8. He doesn't throw as often as the top QBs. When he does, 66% completion, which ranks among the best. Obviously, he's best in space or when the play breaks down. A defensive coordinator's nightmare, like JA.
  9. I think all these announcers are told to hype everybody up, especially on the contenders. It gets annoying.
  10. Yes...hey I hate the Ratbirds but Lamar is a stud. You can't deny he's improved this year. Lawrence, for a 3rd year guy he's making strides. Not "elite" but certainly a top 10 QB
  11. It's too soon to be hungover lol
  12. I suppose there's a slim chance that Miami could lose out & miss the playoffs entirely. Not likely, but possible with their schedule.
  13. Browns brought back the Sipe in Flacco
  14. Yeah, they are truly decimated with injuries. both OTs are 3rd stringers now
  15. Ravens🤑
  16. I don't see many Allen haters at all....where are they? JA is a good story, but c'mon take the blinders off for a minute and try to be objective. All the NFL QBs get scrutinized to death, fairly or unfairly. If JA was on Dallas, yeah he'd most likely be much more hyped. Mahomes is simply on another level, although this season KC has come back to earth a bit. We all talk about the 13 seconds thing, but honestly, what other QB in the NFL would have made those two throws to set up that FG?
  17. His WR group might be the worst of any contending team. I get it, we hate Mahomes, mainly because the Bills haven't got him in the playoffs. But c'mon man, he's the best QB in the NFL by a mile.
  18. Steelers "fans" are only fans when they win. Biggest bandwagonners on the planet.
  19. We've all yelled at our TV or in the stadium in that situation.
  20. This is what I'm referring to. High risk, high rewards I suppose. Jumping and reaching on the goal line, whether by the QB or RB is playing with fire. If the ball squirts out of the end zone, well I have no problem rewarding the defense with a turnover.
  21. Put those two sentences together....."Players also lose the ball while reaching is stupid." Don't defend stupidity. Ball security is truly important as we know.
  22. The defense forced a fumble, or the defense took advantage of an offensive player's butterfingers. The defense ultimately needs to defend the goal line, so there's that. Defense matters. There's already enough rules favoring the offense, as many others have noted.
  23. Yes, this right here!!! I absolutely can't stand it when a player reaches for that pylon/endline in traffic. The player is asking for trouble....so why reward a risky play?
