  1. Correct, but it could open up a possibility of playing the Steelers or Texans, no? Those aren't good match ups for the Bills IMHO.
  2. Mostert has 20 TDs this year though. Insane stat for a 31 year old
  3. Yep. I know I got a ton of flack for writing this earlier in the season, but they truly are the worst fan base in all 4 major sports. "Steeler Nation" simply cannot handle failure.
  4. Yes sir. Just my opinion, the AFC South is the only division that has no "it" factor. Two carpetbagger franchises (Indy, Tennessee), Jax is a stepchild of London, & the Texans (like the Browns) are stuck playing the team that left their city. Maybe put the Ratbirds, Colts, Titans, & Rams in the same division. The NFC Carpetbaggers.
  5. True. 6 potential wins for everybody. All this "divisional imbalance" stuff is sour grapes. It's cyclical ..just a few seasons ago (2019)the most hyped division of all time, the NFC East was a joke, won by the Eagles at 9-7. Forward to 2022, the entire division was strong ( Washington finished 4th at 8-8-1). No system will ever be perfect, but the NFL's scheduling system as presently constructed is brilliant. Probably because it wasn't Roger Goodells 's idea lol. I wouldn't change a thing, although I must admit I think 7 playoff teams per conference is too many.
  6. ...edit " in part, due to a great coach & QB" C'mon, do better.
  7. Could be. I think Marino really only trusted Duper & Clayton, so that's on Marino IMHO.
  8. Mych derMytt
  9. I think the Titans have a great shot at winning vs Jax. Tannehill is going to be motivated in his swan song appearance.
  10. Ouch. Well they're my 2nd favorite team outside of the Bills. Art Modell did 'em wrong (the city, the fans). The current owner is a crook. Ralph Wilson & Art Rooney were the only owners who fought for Cleveland. That means something to me, anyway.
  11. Two franchises that have unbelievable & loyal fan bases. IMHO, the best fans in the NFL if there is such a thing. I cannot imagine the level of sadness for the losing team's fans, yet again.
  12. Yeah, it's almost like conference wins actually matter lol. Look at the scenarios in the NFC South, it's almost as crazy but the records of those teams are crap. Additionally, Minnesota is somehow alive at 7-9.
  13. A fumbled snap, then a Diggs drop, followed by a JA 32 yard scramble. LFG
  14. A close, low scoring game is near 12-9 Bills OT
  15. QB "allowed to be hit in the head" :(
  16. Bills 30 Pats 13 Bills start strong & cruise to a large halftime lead.
  17. Lol, put down whatever you're drinking. Deebo got knocked out of the game in the 1st Q after starting a pregame fight, McCaffrey got hurt in the game as well. The "paper tiger" Browns had to start PJ Walker and they rallied from being down 10-0 vs SF. Browns have 13 starters on IR and have won 11 games. Yes, in a few losses they looked bad (Rams, Broncos, Ratbirds). They're a dangerous & talented team.
  18. Browns & Bills are pretty similar. All this Lamar MVP talk will go away when they lose their opening playoff game.
  19. It's one of those things I shouldn't really know lol. Football fans are a tad damaged
  20. Actually the Chargers started out in LA in the original AFL in 1960. They only played one season there and moved to San Diego in 1961. Here's another weird thing to me....Stan Kroenke moves the Rams to LA, his wife is a Walmart heiress. The Denver Broncos were bought by another Walmart group. How in the hell is that legal to have two Walmart-owned NFL teams?
  21. Who has the tiebreaker if the Browns & Bills tie in a wild card scenario? If Miami drops their last 2, I think they'd fall to #6 (assuming they & Cle finish 11-6). Cleveland may rest guys next week, no matter what. Seems like half their team is on IR or just plain banged up.
  22. The quality of play really varies on TNF, especially the late season matchups. The players have to dig deep & fight through the ailments they got on Sunday. Amari Cooper probably plays if it's a Sunday game, for example. The NFL will never let it go, but TNF every week isn't a good idea. Shanahan is 1-3 vs the AFC North. 49ers may not be as great as they are hyped to be. I think Ryans in Houston may win coach of the year. They're 8-7, and the Texans only had 7 wins combined the previous 2 seasons.
  23. He's difficult to defend. If you get to him quick on a blitz, fine. Once he breaks containment odds are in his favor. 20-1 vs NFC teams in his career. Obviously, seeing him once every 4 years is a part of that. AFC teams see him more often, so they have a decent idea of how to defend him. To me, the main MVP candidates are Lamar, McCaffrey, JA, Mahomes, & Myles Garrett. Remove these guys from their teams and they're .500 ish.
