The 38-34 type games can be entertaining, but lousy defense & lucky PI on defenders on under thrown balls gets annoying.

You may turn out to be right, but "Chiefs/Ravens/Jets" super mid? KC may fall a peg, same with the Ratbirds, but they won't go away quietly. Long way to go. Bills looked "mid" last year until a late season run gave us hope. Just saying....

NFL Strength of Schedule 2024 Well, that's fake news lol. Cleveland has the hardest schedule in the league.

The main thing I like about the International games (mainly London) is the 930am start time (EST). Even if it's a game you don't really have a ton of interest in,it's good background noise at home or a tailgate.

I will. But yeah, not a fan of this "parceling out" of the NFL. -
NFL 2024 Kickoff: Ravens @ Chiefs, Sept 5 - 8:20pm

Well, if Rice smoked some weed, or knocked his girlfriend/wife down, or got about 25 massages, he'd be suspended already. -
It's his "slipperiness" that wows folks, not his passing. His stats vs his division rivals aren't really outstanding (as you may expect) because those teams see him twice a year. He does excel vs teams that don't see him often, especially early in a game. Once teams get a feel for his skills they typically figure it out. It's like trying to catch a water bug in a creek.

I'm still trying to figure out how Walmart is allowed to own 2 NFL teams (Rams, Broncos).

Week 1 - Cardinals at Bills - Game Week Thread

I have always hated the NFL's desire to have division matchups so early in the season. I'd prefer division games to start in October, league wise. -
Hmmm. Sage Steele was simply a sportscaster who wanted to report on sports. When people get fired, they may get angry/upset.I think she's got reason to. There's no conspiracy theory regarding her.

I'm sure there's a lot of truth to that. Sage Steele left because of all the political pressure/ political correctness and has been very outspoken about it on X (Twitter).

Cincy goes 7-10 Cowboys reach the SB Atlanta is much improved after canning Arthur Smith Cleveland wins AFC North for the 1st time since 1989 Bills grind out an 11-6 season, win AFC East NY Jets go 8-9 but sweep the Bills somehow JA 32 TDs 13 INTs Something heartbreaking happens in the Bills 1st playoff game and they lose (maybe that's not bold)

The most loathsome NFL players of all time
DrBob806 replied to TheCockSportif's topic in The Stadium Wall
Big Ben played 18 years, never had any type of endorsement deal, kind of odd considering his production. He was Deshaun Watson before Watson came into the league. The Georgia sheriff's office was gaga over him, basically blew off the rape allegations. -
People forget that the Houston Texans set the hotel rooms up for him, helped enable him, and they got off scott-free. It was a PR nightmare for the NFL, who decided to punish the Cleveland organization because of the silly guaranteed contract, and suspend him for 11 games. No excuses for Watson's behavior. Remember though, all this stuff came out after Watson had a hissy fit with the owner about not being involved in the GM search. So they exposed him and his deeds while he was a Texan. So instead of punishing that organization, Goodell punished Cleveland for signing him....pretty ass-backwards if you think about it.

Who was your all-time favorite player that was NOT on the Bills?
DrBob806 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. The huge mane of hair helped him stand out. -
Uh you're wrong on some points here. I also live in Cleveland and he's on WKNR (sports talk radio)via a phone call Monday through Friday during football season on the morning shift, analyzing Browns football. He remains one of the most beloved players in Browns history. The organization did fire him from preseason announcing several years ago. I'm sure he has demons, mainly drinking. You'd drink a lot too if your owner kicked you to the curb and moved your team somewhere else. Then, when the Browns came back into the league, the new ownership group used him as a selling point and dropped him like a hot potato after getting the bid.
