The barriers you speak of is their culture.
Drug dealers glorified, intelligence is looked down upon.
Blame everyone.
No accountability.
Rinse and repeat.
Speaking from experience not coming from a 2 parent home is by far the biggest factor that plaques the black community.
I had to learn so much about being a man from strangers or coworkers.

I agree to a point but, there seems to be a segment of the population that is actively cheering his death.
These people overwhelmingly voted left.

I know how lucky I am.
I'm the exception, not the rule.
The change starts within.
I knew the environment I grew up in wasn't right and I did whatever I had to to break that cycle.
