Homegrown off-season signings has been the biggest issue with this team. Bernard, Benford, and Rousseau have been mainly invisible. It’s the main reason the defense looks the way it does. The free agent signings have not looked any better with the exception of the two games that Hoecht was able to play. Cook is the only signing to play to his contract.
