Nope, still makes perfect sense to me. I just think it's hysterical that fans on this board qualify the performance of other athletes with "who have they played", yet we have historically made hay by beating crappy teams. I just really appreciate the hypocrisy.

Game week thread - Bills at Panthers (Game week preview on pg. 18)

Who woulda thought that, as of week 8, a win at Carolina would literally be Buffalo's best win of the season to date? -

Agreed. And if I'm an opposing defense I'd load up the box and make the Bills beat me through the air. -
Because you're giving him ***** for who he's beaten, meanwhile we are over here with wins over the dregs of the NFL.
-
LOL and who exactly have WE beaten this year???

Would you want to see Josh play hardball with the organization?
WNYFAN1 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. Let Josh focus on playing football. -
10/13/2025 Bills at Falcons - Post game thread
WNYFAN1 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol, that's great. But make sure you have him sitting on the giant sacks of cash he's making. I feel bad for the guy, but not toooo bad. -
Agreed. He looks even more like an arrogant ass now.

Can everyone just take a freakin breath?

"Bernard gets hurt mid game and exits." Shocking... -
So this will sound sacrilegious, but I've wondered if Josh Allen is paradoxically both why we are competitive and why we can't win the "big one". I don't mean his contact size, nor do I mean anything negative about his performance (but of course he isn't perfect), but rather how much his "rope" his success has given to the tandem of our GM and HC. Are both actually not great at their jobs, but have job security because they won the lotto with Josh? And, if so, will that ultimately be our downfall?

Random talking head says something about the Bills

This is an important point. Allen is absurdly durable. In an alternate universe where Allen misses time like the avg QB? Not a pretty picture -

Him calling into the radio and lambasting those guys. WTF was he thinking? What's to be gained? Just so dumb -
It could be that we are really just an average football team. 4-2 sounds good, but who have we beaten? Teams that are a combined 3-21. I don't see how you can fix all of this mid-season, but happy to be proven wrong.

It's not just the loss. They struggled at times to beat Miami and New Orleans, two of the worst teams in the NFL, needing roughing the punter calls in both games. We needed heroic efforts and a great deal of luck to get the win against the Ravens. 4 out of our first 5 games at home, and we drop one of those to a division reival. I think they are the best team in the AFC, but I wouldn't necessarily say "by a somewhat comfortable margin", at least not yet.

Hey, Terry's gotta be able to gas up that yacht!
-
Ummm that sure doesn't sound like an MVP...
-
Yep, downside of the Bills having an easy schedule is... so do the Pats.
-
If you truly believe that, then why would you even be a fan of an NFL team?

James Cook AFC Offensive Player of the Month (September 2025)!
WNYFAN1 replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is Cook being this good going to be used against Allen like the Henry argument was last year for why Lamar didn't earn MVP? -
Against who? The Ravens, sure. And then the murder's row of the Dolphins, Jets and Saints. Come on
