So I have zero idea of the facts of this case. But let's pretend for a minute that you were sexually assaulted by a guy and the criminal justice system let you down.
Isn't this EXACTLY how you would go about getting justice?
Maybe not, but for a lot of people this is actually a pretty logical step. You can't get the criminal system to help, use the civil system.
Again, I have zero clue if anything happened, just pointing out that there could actually be logic to this approach.
As an aside, he better be good, otherwise why bother drafting someone with any baggage like this?
