  1. So Dane Jackson & Xavier Rhodes show, w/ an eye spy Tre White every now & again. SWEET! Take that Bellichiznuts! You're not the only one who can play 4D chess. We are so BRILLIANT!
  2. Hope so.
  3. For a team that's 0-2 in the division it could be. If that 1 loss is to the Fins kiss the division goodbye, & it'll be tight getting that wild card spot. If it's to NE or the Jets then we'll loose to the Fins too & 2 losses, we'll need help getting a spot. The AFC & AFC East are so tight this year, not a lot of room for error. These next 3 are crucial bc they're division.
  4. If we don't win these next 3 games there may not be a playoffs for him to come back to.
  5. Fixed it. (Ralph... or Beane, or whoever is cheap) 😜
  6. That's okay Mickey, by the sounds of it Minnie was ***** Goofy. Had the same question. Sounds like he was on the practice squad & only elevated for games (I'm reading between the lines on this). So if he returns he can be signed to anyone's active roster from there. Anyone else know for sure? (Not that I think Beane will do this unless he's desperate bc I think Beane thinks he's washed, IMO) https://sports.yahoo.com/buccaneers-wr-cole-beasley-retires-2-weeks-after-signing-with-tampa-bay-163441927.html
  7. OBJ meeting with Giants tomorrow. Interesting his college coach is their special teams coordinator. https://wnyt.com/associated-press/ap-sports/beckham-to-kick-off-free-agent-tour-by-visiting-giants/
  8. Looks like the bookies don't share our optimism. https://nesn.com/bets/2022/11/nfl-odds-chiefs-supplant-bills-as-consensus-super-bowl-lvii-favorites/ https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl-betting-for-the-first-time-this-season-the-buffalo-bills-arent-super-bowl-favorites-185224445.html
  9. Yeah but we got John Brown.
  10. This looked interesting. No idea what their standard is for this ranking. But they've got us about middle. (This is from before our last game loosing Von).
  11. Ahh... I knew it was the stewardesses fault. The old frame a sleeping guy for not wearing a seatbelt by deboarding an entire plane trick. The classics never get old.
  12. Damn it! Calm down & pull yourself together O'Dell!
  13. & If Detroit doesn't fumble they don't, so turnovers is a wash. This was not a good D they played, nor was Cleveland. The Offense has been underperforming for 4 and a half games (which predates the line injuries). Yes you're right the players aren't executing as well as they could & yes there's been adversity. There's also been some things scheme wise that could be improved. They all need to look at what the issues are & how to fix them as players & coaches. As a first year OC we all knew Dorsey would need to learn to adjust, I think he's working on that, I have confidence he'll figure it out. But I'm not going to say what a wonderful job he's doing based on squeaking by one of the worst D.s in the league (as this thread suggests). Pats, Jets & Phins are on deck & they won't be so easy. They have set a higher standard & expectations. It's SB or bust this year. He & the players can, should & will do better. Go Bills.
  14. This IS the year! SB or bust. It's why they got Von. If not now when? If they don't win it this year w/ all the looming cap issues, they risk becoming the 2000's Rivers / Tomlinson Chargers, or 2010's Roethleisberger / Antonio Brown Steelers - perennial pretenders. It has to be NOW! Anything else is a terrible disappointment.
  15. I agree with you, criticism should be productive and specific, not knee jerk. Unfortunately frustration & emotion often shows during/after games. But there are some good specific questions getting asked based on what some experts have pointed out. Like as Sal Cappacio / Joe Bascaglia mentioned with Dane Jacksons struggles what is the reason he hasn't been replaced, is it injuries or do they think he's better than Elam, Benford, or even Rhodes? (there may be several reasons). Or as Greg Cosell pointed out Dorsey doesn't run a lot of bunch formations with rubs and picks to help scheme receivers open, instead relying on them to win 1 on 1, which only Diggs has consistently been able to do, so does he need to make changes to incorporate more of this as he adjusts as a 1st year play caller? (again there may be a counter point to that). Those discussions are worth having. But again I agree with you just saying fire everyone (even though the thought might cross everyone's mind in a moment of panic when Detroit took the late lead), doesn't really advance our understanding of what problems they're really having.
  16. Respectfully, It's not "insanity" to notice the team having issues and discussing those issue and the causes behind them. Be it injuries, players performance, or yes, even coaching decisions. They ALL play a part & are fair game for discussion. That's how we figure out what the real issues are. The key is being constructive & informative. (Like the post about injuries not being as big an issue had a chart & showed us being the 5th healthiest team). You have NFL analysts (Greg Cosell, Joe Bascaglia & others) noticing issues with the offense and play calling (Detroit was last D in pts allowed 28, we scored 26. They & the Browns are worst D's against the run). It's fair to wonder what improvement Dorsey, McD & Frasier could make. Just like wondering what players they can aquire, or what players could improve. That is not "insanity" it's part of being a fan & the point of this board. At the end of the day, no matter anyone's disagreements we're all routing for the same team. Go Bills.
  17. Need Ed to keep playing elite for a while. The DE position is a MASH unit.
  18. Yeah, thought the same thing. I'm definitely done with these Thanksgiving games. Make KC play them. I'd like some breaks to start going the Bills way. Frustrating.
  19. Past success is not indicative of future success as they say. Fact remains a number of concepts from last year, which other teams use, are not being used (stack formations, rubs & picks). You can see the offense is struggling, experts like Cosell can see it. So the question posed here is what adjustments can Dorsey make schematically & play call wise to get things running smoother on offense.
  20. There's reports saying if he can brace it he can play & get surgery after season, but if he can't & has to have surgery now, then his season is done. (Per Rapsheet quoting to Rapoport). So back to wait & see.
  21. Lions are dead last defensively in pts allowed averaging 28.2. They also have the 2nd worst run D in the league (Browns have the worst) & they were missing their top CB. We, the #2 scoring offense scored 26 (the D got 2 w/ the safety). & We punted 3 consecutive times for the 1st time this year. Hardly a stellar day by Coach Dorsey. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-points-per-game
  22. I get he's a Rookie, but he's got a lot of talent to work with & we are in a SB window. So question is schematically how can he adapt & improve to help the Offense reach it's full potential? (We may be #2 in pts but we're #18 in the RedZone 53.5%, so still leaving a lot of meat on the bone).
  23. Here's team stat & rankings link. While the overall seems good, the RedZone rank #18, Completion % #23, and Time of Possession #20, & Sack % #9, all stand out. Then there's the player stats link. It's really telling looking at receivers. Diggs is a disproportionate share twice as many targets as Davis who's 2nd. Knox is tied with Davis for same # of catches this year. But TGT% (catch %) is really interesting. Diggs, Knox & Singletary are 70+%. Then McKenzie 66%. Davis is just 55% and everyone else is below him. That's a big drop off. Kind of goes to Cosell's point that only Diggs can consistently win his 1 on 1. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/team/buffalo-bills/stats https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/BUF/buffalo-bills/stats/regular/
  24. Thanks. That's a great find. Would not have guessed that. Also, interesting KC & Philly have been healthier than us.
