  1. I don't disagree. It did sound like the relationship was souring for a while behind the scenes & they finally had enough. I just wish Beane had ripped the band aid off sooner & sent him packing when we got rid of Mitch & the others so he had more time to take it into account for the draft. But that's rearview stuff now, I'm looking through the windshield toward next season with the new crew. Go Bill!
  2. Why don't you actually read what I said. I'm not crying & I didn't say you can't change game plans. I also agree F*** Diggs. I just disagree with the Topic's premise that Diggs made this WR room instead of Beane. Diggs leaving no more made this room than Davis leaving. The guy in charge who makes the decisions is Beane that's why we pay him & the buck stops with him. So whatever this WR room is, he made it. No more weak a** excuses, he's the boss he owns it. We still have all of our main producers from the end of last season Kincaid, Shakir & Cook & we almost beat KC with them. Now we have Samuel & Coleman (I would expect that makes us better). If that turns out to be even better that's Beane's accomplishment not Diggs. Of course if we take a step back, that's Beane too (which is possible bc as Beane said at the presser we're transitioning the team to get younger, which I'm all for, but takes time to come together).
  3. Beane relied on Diggs and ignored the signs there was a problem there (kind of like he did w/ Gabe Davis). Beane chose to trade Diggs. Beane was in charge of the plan to replace him & Beane made the draft picks we made & passed on the WR we chose not to draft. Kind of hard to say Beane bears no responsibility with a straight face.
  4. Starting to wonder if Beane's plan is to trade some of next year's 13 picks to get a vet WR? Cause he sure isn't interested in adding a quality 2nd WR draft pick, which is disappointing IMO.
  5. Right a say, not make the picks like Aaron Rodgers (which is what this report sounds like happened. There is a difference). I want my GM & scouting department to make the pick. It's what we pay them for. I want my franchise QB to work on improving his game in the off-season, & I don't mean golf 😉. That's what we pay him for. The report makes it sound like Josh all but picked Coleman (that's more than a say). Why would the Bills & Beane want that reported? Maybe bc then we have to like the pick bc Josh picked him & it absolves Beane if the pick is a bust bc then it was Josh's fault? & What if he is a bust? (I know I have doubts). Then shouldn't we be saying why are you letting your QB play GM? (that's what folks are saying about Aaron Rodgers in NY). Frankly, they were better off not putting that out there & we would be none the wiser. Time will tell. If he's good then Josh is brilliant & should be GM. If he sucks, then no Josh should not be making picks. I really hope Coleman is a monster & Josh is a genius. Go Coleman Go Bills!
  6. Well Josh likes him & I like Josh so that means I have to like him. But if he sucks then I'll have to blame Josh & want Josh fired from the GM job he doesn't have. Wonder what Beane does now that Josh makes the picks?
  7. I hate everyone @ 1 Bills Drive. Joe Marino & Kyle Crabs saying his comp is Gabe Davis as if that's comforting. I have to go play in traffic now.
  8. I wish God was an option. I pray every game for God to help us win. Might as well get God under contract & on the field to answer my prayers. Since God's not an option guess I'll go McConkey.
  9. I hear ya. They did have Travis Kelce (I get he didn't have a great SB but he was good otherwise). It's looking like short of getting an established vet, we will be relying on Kincaid taking a step toward being Kelce. I also get that the end of the season Kincaid, Shakir & Cook were leading the receptions without a lot of consistent contributions from Diggs Davis. I'm good with moving on from them. I want to know there's a plan & I'm having trouble seeing it. I'm worried this WR room will not get a significant upgrade & I actually think as a whole it's not as good as what KC had. But as has been pointed out, Beane isn't done working yet. So I'll have to practice improving my patience.
  10. The breakdowns ahead of the draft say Franklin struggles w/ press coverage and blocking on film. Worthy is shorter & faster, they have a tougher time getting hands on him. Now in fairness I'm not sure Worthy's frame holds up when he does get hit & they said he did have some drops & some concentration issues. My point is our WR room is not nearly good enough & I don't see the remaining players on the board fixing that (also have an issue w/ compensation received but that's a different issue). There's no WR 1 available there. But the idea of trading for a SF WR is interesting & could fill that immediate hole. Hoping you're right & Beane pulls something off before the season. Not thrilled, but I'm trying to accept it, & be a windshield person instead of a rearview mirror person (look forward instead of backward).
  11. Available Adonai Mitchell - takes plays off Troy Franklin - too thin & light Ladd McConkey - Shakir 2.0 Keon Coleman - project Javon Baker - lines up mostly 1 side Jalynn Polk Recent Hits AJ Brown Dk Metcalf - these 2 were Legette comps Not seeing a #1 WR available in draft, just nice role players. Little hard to Relax when the WR room currently bottom 5 & there doesn't appear to be a plan. Maybe we get a Hail Mary Trade for an established vet WR 1. 🤞
  12. Not Mitchell he has attitude & busy written all over him. DeJean sticks out like a sore thumb. But our WR room is laughable at thee moment.
  13. Our WR room is Shakir, Curtis Samuel, Mark Hollins, Justin Shorter (& some practice squad players). That's laughably sad. Mitchell takes plays off & is said to be uncoachable. Troy Franklin is skinnier than a marathon runner & can't get off press coverage. McConkey has the same skill set Shakir already gives us. All would be fine picks as the SECOND WR wr drafted. None replace the 1st rounders we missed out / passed up on. Good luck Josh. This will be a bottom 5 WR room next year. But trying to find a positive side, we gave KC their Tyreek 2.0 target to beat us with for the next 5 years & the Panthers appreciate getting the A.J. Brown / DK Metcalf love child at WR. So that was nice of us.
  14. Yeah, nearly a quarter of a century ago he got a steal in the 6th. Course he picked Mac Jones to replace him. 😉
  15. Please, please, please, please, please, please get someone really really good so we can win the Superbowl this year Beanie Baby.
  16. Belichick didn't exactly draft well & his media appearances like watching paint dry (actually the paint was more fun). This does not sound like a compelling watch. Unless... 🤔 McAfee so pissed off Bill that they actually physically fight. Now THAT, I want to see live.

  18. For what it's worth, some last minute WR prospect videos, I don't think were previously posted.
  19. Keep it down! We don't want to appear desperate.
  20. If we ALL pool our Money maybe...
  21. Steve Smith breakdown of his top 19 WR prospects in draft. Click the YouTube link for it (it's college film, so not sure where NFL gets off blocking it as their content)
