He needs to be bold. Josh is in his prime & times ticking. Hopefully Bosa outperforms my expectations.

I hear ya. But Bosa averages 9 games played the last 3 years. That continues we're paying him $1.4 mill a game & probably don't have him when it counts. Hendrickson hasn't had that issue. He plays 17 plus playoffs like last year is 20 games at $30 mill that's $1.5 kill a game. If we get to the SB it's $1.4 mill. So for the same money per game we get a better player and better shot at a Lombardi. Even at $30 mill Hendrickson is a better deal. (I get there's variables & no guarantees that past performance is no guarantee of future outcomes etc. Point is I wish we would swing big & go for it).

Yeah, not surprising he had a history of injuries before we got him. What has been holding Palmer back & is it correctable w/ us?

Eagles rotated from a good staple. We have holes at DE too. So I don't see them rotating inside to DT. Be nice to see a plan. Of course this is just day 1. But so far, not inspiring.

We got 2 starting DTs plus a meh rookie and 2 future reserve players. We rotate 4. So unless Beane gets a FA DT, he's going to need to spend 2 draft picks on the position.

Read it. Sure, many points are good. Drafting rounds 1 & 2 haven't been good enough, thank you Capt. Obvious. Questionable whether McD can get it done at this point. Already heard his good points from Joe Marino, Buffalo Plus, Cover 1, & discussed on this board (doubts about McD & Beane threads). I have been aware of & agreed w/ those points well before reading this. But it's also a fact the guy was a failure here & was fired by McD/Beane. So it's okay to read what he says with scepticism for the source/motives & still agree with the points. 2 things can be true.

Sure there's a lot to criticize about Bean & McD & a lot of questions they need to answer about whether they can get this team over the hump. But I don't recall Jim Monos building any championship teams for us when he was here running things from 2013 until the guys he's criticizing fired him in 2017. So I'll take what he says w/ a dump truck full of salt.
