If he was being fired wouldn't we have likely heard by now? To me it would be a surprise. Not saying it was all his fault(like Bass becoming a head case), but overall for the season the ST was an absolute dumpster fire. It's unacceptable. We have enough issues to deal with let alone not being to count on good consistently sound ST. Like Marv used to say, its 1/3 of the team and as important as the O and D.

Safety is a priority, Beneford is staying as a starting CB, Elam has absolutely NO skills to play as a safety in a zone scheme. The only answer will be a FA and a safety drafted in either 1st or 2nd rd. Count on it

Ok my question is, is this route concept and design? In which case is that more on Brady? Or, are these option routes, where then that's more on the players in terms of poor decisions and route running? I seem to remember that Dorsey offense had a lot of option routes. By the end of the season and before all those D injuries, I did start to believe it was possible. Unlikely but possible. But I knew it meant Josh would have to go completely ALIEN for 4 straight games and we would need some luck.

Again, until this year I was a big McDermott supporter. But you look at that, and the stat of only team with 58 wins over 5 years with no SB, it simply SCREAMS that's on coaching. Doesn't it??

I would have agreed at the halfway point, then Floyd hit his wall and literally was invisible most games after that. Let him walk, we need to get younger.

I give him a lot of credit for what he did the last half of the season. But he also deserves blame for what happened the first half of the season. He's an above average coach. It will be a risk to move on from him. Its a risk I believe we need to take. It's worked for other teams, it can work here. Allen is a future HOFer and we are wasting his prime. We need to move on for him.

Needed a HELL NO option. That's why as disappointed I am in not getting past the Chiefs I saw the writing on the wall. Ravens are the best team in football this year. I expect them to beat the Chiefs decisively. And they would have blown us out.
