That said I'm ambivalent about all these TE University and Pass Rusher Summit and the like. How would a Chiefs fan feel if Dawson Knox was the hero of the winning OT for the Bills last year? I'm probably not alone about having misgivings about these things. I believe a lot of NFL front office guys aren't good with their star player sharing trade secrets with the enemy. I'm not crazy about our prize pass rusher voluntarily improving our opponents' pass rushers. -

Actually apologies to you and Gunner. I posted that late last night and was gonna chase it with a "just kidding." Unfortunately I fell asleep before that happened. I honestly have no idea if Jaelen Phillips is even there. -

Apparently Jaelen Phillips has been the star of the summit so far. -
It's hard to say how meaningful Miller's interest in the Cowboys was. If Miller reached out to the Cowboys as DeMarcus Ware states, that tells me that winning a championship was not his first criteria. As mentioned, Miller grew up in suburban Dallas and played college at Texas A&M, less than an hour from his hometown of DeSoto. The question is "Would Miller have preferred to sign with his hometown team if they offered the same money as the Bills?"

"Neighbors described him as being quiet and reserved."

Bills’ Analytics Department Highly-Ranked
Sierra Foothills replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
Boater, check this out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Pardee John Perry Pardee (April 19, 1936 – April 1, 2013) was an American football linebacker and the only head coach to helm a team in college football, the National Football League (NFL), the United States Football League (USFL), the World Football League (WFL), and the Canadian Football League (CFL). Pardee was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1986. -
I'm very curious to see if Tua can conclusively prove that he's better than Jalen Hurts.

No, it's not grueling to watch. And forgive me but part of my job is as a teacher.

Jim Kelly on the all time passing list
Sierra Foothills replied to Marlton Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen will knock Kelly to #2 statistically. I think people need to tap the brakes a bit until Allen can deliver at least one Super Bowl appearance. It was posited that Kelly took a lot more punishment than QBs of today. I think it's reasonable to say that if Kelly had the same protections as today's QBs he almost certainly would have added a couple seasons on the back end of his career. Again statistically that is more than likely. As far as greatness, let's see if Allen gets us to ONE Super Bowl. Then we can talk about it. Kelly was 16-8 heads up against Marino, 3-0 in the playoffs. BTW Kelly was 4-2 against Elway. No one would argue which player was more talented but those who put Marino ahead of Kelly as a QB have very little basis for that position IMO. Probably I'm being harsh but I feel like half the people posting in this topic are too young to have watched Kelly play and the other half are too old to have a clear memory of his career. I love Josh Allen as much as anyone but the short memory and lack of respect for Jim Kelly's career makes me a bit sad. There's a ton of recency bias at work here. -

Bills’ Analytics Department Highly-Ranked

Coincidentally Bills HOF Coach Marv Levy is a George Allen protege and like Allen was a Head Coach in college and all three pro leagues. In college he was head coach at New Mexico, Cal, and William and Mary. In the pros Levy was head coach for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs, the CFL's Montreal Alouettes, and the USFL's Chicago Blitz before getting the head job in Buffalo in 1986. -
Thank you. It's always a victory when someone actually knows which homophone to use. It gives one hope. On the other hand... Do you believe Lewan's claims that players pay PFF $50K? Are you familiar with the common practice of media outlets "picking up" stories from other media outlets and appropriating them for their own gain? Do you consider this a "juicy" story that other outlets would pick up and run with to increase traffic to their sites? Do you think a self-proclaimed "shyt disturber" like Mike Florio at PFT would normally latch onto this story and either prove or debunk it? Why do you think zero established, credible media outlets have touched this story? Don't you think that it's likely that we would have corroboration from some of the thousands of NFL players if Lewan's allegations were true? Where did Lewan make his allegations? Was it from a serious, hard news outlet? A blogcast? An Instagram post?

Three pages of nothing... you guys are slipping... Career Averages: 7.8 yards per punt return, 18.0 yards per kickoff return

Josh Allen pukes before every game.
Sierra Foothills replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Actually this is the anecdote I was thinking of: "Like Bill Russell before him, teammates became anxious if Kelly didn't throw up before the game, and Kelly once said of his own pre-game vomiting, “We were so superstitious that my offensive line would not leave the locker room until I threw up … But the times I didn't think I needed to or it wasn't one of those games where I was so pumped up - like if we had [already] clinched - those games the offensive line wouldn't leave. So I went in there and pretended, just to keep those guys happy." -

This was the first thing that came to mind. There was a funny story about it too I think. -
There are plenty of NFL QBs that don't justify a spot on an NFL roster. Kaepernick took a controversial and unpopular stand and as a result he's a pariah. If a team signs him there will be intense media scrutiny and the teams don't want to engage that kind of distraction. That's why he's not in the league.

It's fine that he's thick... but does he have pretty balls? And even if he does, that's only part of the package.

He missed his calling as a golf pro.

Yeah, Josh is farmer strong and he definitely has a "meat and potatoes build."
