  1. Or a shyt ton of guys with slide rules.
  2. I'm not gonna go check but haven't the Steelers and Ravens been consistent contenders during the Cheatriots' reign?
  3. Here's the specific problem with that: Major League Soccer (MLS) mandates a field of 70 yards wide. An NFL field is 53.33 yards wide. Unless you have moveable stands, that difference will cause seats to be farther away for NFL games and who wants that? And if the stadium includes moveable stands, that's a pretty substantial additional cost, no?
  4. Exactly. McDermott has said that teams "pass to score and run to win." I think most of us expect the Bills to run more effectively this year. What I'd actually like to know is at how many team rushing yards does the winning percentage eclipse the 300 yard passing win percentage? Every team in the league runs a backfield committee so IMO team rushing is a more revelant stat than individual rushing. Is it at 115 team rushing yards? 125? Also that blurb specifically mentions Indy, Tenessee, Dallas, and Cleveland... 4 teams that did not advance deeply in the playoffs during the time of the study (since 2017). Doesn't the fact of zero championship games over that time weaken the study's findings?
  5. What you have no idea of is that in the game following the Bills loss to the Steelers, Pittsburgh proceeded to dominate the Oakland Raiders in the AFC Championship Game 24-13 and allowed Oakland (led by 3 time Pro Bowler Marv Hubbard) only 29 yards on 21 carries with no rushing TDs. In the Super Bowl Pittsburgh dominated Minnesota 16-6 and allowed Minnesota (led by 5 time Pro Bowler Chuck Foreman) only 17 yards on 21 carries with no rushing TDs. In other words OJ's 14 rushes for 49 yards (3.5 yards per carry) was more than Oakland and Minnesota's combined 46 yards on 42 carries (1.09 yards per carry) in the next two games combined. In addition OJ caught 3 passes for 37 yards and a TD in that playoff game. The reason OJ played in only one playoff game was because the team around him was always mediocre. You really have zero clue about OJ Simpson.
  6. You can have him. If OJ was on the Levy Bills, the team wouldn't have gone 0-4 in Super Bowls.
  7. He. Should. Have. Said. "Presumptive." "Starter."
  8. One. Of. The. Pillars. Of. McDermott's. Philosophy. Is. Having. A. Growth. Mindset. As. Defined. And. Explained. By. Carol. Dweck. This. Mindset. Undergirds. The. Entirety. Of. The. Bills. Success. Under. McDermott.
  9. Especially when punting from his own end zone... maybe the best in league history in that situation.
  10. Sorry to pile on... you need to watch this highlight package and listen to the narration. It's a myth and misunderstanding that OJ didn't have a power component to his game... these highlights are well worth the time spent watching and absolutely awe-inspiring (click on "Watch on YouTube"):
  11. Yeah, Barry Sanders was definitely gifted in a small, sports car sort of way. Like you said, OJ had the turbo boost, like the Millenium Falcon going into hyperspace.
  12. As a kid? Like 2 years old? Sorry to be rude but based on your post I find it hard to believe you ever saw OJ play.
  13. Okay I give up. What's the moral of the story?
  14. Jones has started 110 games in the NFL. Settle has started 2 games as a pro. This is reflected in their respective contracts. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tim-settle-25264/ https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/daquan-jones-14523/contracts/
  15. Well it's the obvious one...
  16. So you've admitted to cheating in games more than once but you admonish and condemn Bradychick for cheating? That's kind of funny to me.
  17. FWIW (probably not too much) Running backs drafted by round from 2017-2021: 1st round: 2, 3, 1, 1, 2, (9) 2nd round 2, 4, 1, 5, 1, (13) 3rd round 4, 1, 5, 5, 1, (16) 4th round 7, 5, 4, 4, 4, (24) 5th round 4, 2, 3, 1, 1, (11) 6th round 2, 3, 6, 0, 6, (17) 7th round 5, 3, 7, 3, 4, (22)
  18. From the beginning. I never thought Cook had leapfrogged Moss. I thought Moss, a 3rd round pick in his 3rd year in the system, full recovered from his 2021 ankle problems was going to be ahead of the rookie who is to me, a situational weapon.
  19. My first thought is that Jake Kumerow must be really pissed... You know what they say... too many captains spoils the broth... Me and the others had been quietly wondering... we're a big family, let's talk about this. Google's a funny word. It makes my teeth feel squishy when I say it.
  20. Well you're a successful guy maybe you know... where did I go wrong?
  21. This explains pretty much everything... I wore blue pants to my high school graduation.
  22. Matt Patricia and Joe Judge asking Belichick for their jobs back...
