  1. Crappy weather doesn't move game locations. Only crippling historic storms that cause state of emergency, travel bans, and redirection of first responders will do that.
  2. That makes a lot more sense.
  3. This story makes it confusing around what the rule actually is. Sounds like the rule is both teams need to use the same equipment but the story just points out the Dolphins sideline. If that actually is the rule then it would seem the Chargers had to be using them as well.
  4. The defense wouldn't find him to be a good Tua simulation; he's way too tough to pretend that.
  5. Small craft advisory in effect too. Hopefully nobody is traveling into town by boat.
  6. I heard Frank Gore is next on his request list.
  7. Sounds pretty manageable. Still better stock up on beer, beef jerky, and edibles… I mean milk, bread, and eggs…
  8. You and a few other posters had some really good info the other week with the storm. I got better info here than the actual news and weather apps. Seems like we are starting to get into the time frame where we should have a good idea for what this storm is going to be, but it has been relatively quiet so far. Are we looking to have just a normal Buffalo snow with a few inches or could this end up being something significant again?
  9. That may be true or maybe not, we don’t really know enough what’s going on with him to understand the details. He may have given it a shot and hated plying in TB with Brady. Or he may have had the best time of his career playing with JA17. We can’t really speculate when it comes down to someone’s will to play. At the end of they day he just seems to have something left in him that he wants to put out there and that alone seems like enough to take a flyer on.
  10. I feel like Beasley’s departure was a lot dependent on what his expectations were for this season. Time tested vets like him have a hard time of accepting what reality does to receivers of that age. He thought his value was way higher than reality. A short stint on the Bucks PS may have made him wake up. A well rested and uninjured Beasley coming in during the last few weeks with a chip on his shoulder, realizing he isn’t worth much more than vet minimum could go a long way. I would rather have a healthy Beas coming into the stretch today than a barely walking Beas facing the playoffs that we have seen the last two years.
  11. At this point just the bolded would be appreciated.
  12. Yeah I know. I was just trying to may an ironic joke of why he would be spotted here but not related to football.
  13. Hopefully he’s not flying in just to sign the closing papers on his house sale.
  14. I hate the purely analytical decision making in situations like that. And that’s coming from a financial analyst. Need to combine data driven information with common sense and a feel for the game. Just handed over a 6 point swing with robotic decision making.
  15. Great moments in Cardinals history.
  16. Lol they’re praising Cody Ford now
  17. I just want to see Tua try to chuck up one of those high arching fluttering passes to Hill only to have the swirling wings redirect it directly into the waiting hands of Poyer.
  18. It's just because domes makes the fans soft and weak.
  19. They look dumb but if it is a snow globe at least they will be visible and Allen can find his receivers... as long as they figure out how to not drop the ball.
  20. The NFL would love for this to be a snow game for the ratings boost. Already flexed an exciting game to primetime and viewers love snow games. Not huge games, but there are the New Mexico and Frisco bowl games competing in overlapping time slots on ABC and ESPN (with more reach than NFLN).
  21. Bad weather is an equalizer in today's modern era of high passing football. It hasn't been a Bills home field advantage since the Kelly days. With that said, I think it comes down to who can overcome the adversity better. After watching the Bills play tough defensive football in the cold wet slop and seeing Tua struggle in perfect conditions, I think we are in a good position.
  22. Almost like snow blowing your whole driveway towards your neighbors side only and none towards your own.
  23. I’ll be satisfied with a win and a classic JA stiff arm.
  24. McDermott has always been known for getting rookies involved slowly and take time to gain his trust. With that said this seems a little different. He was slowly coming along, had two games where he looked good, then disappeared. Almost like he kicked McD’s dog or something.
  25. Nah, he’s a Daywalker.
