I think Allen consciously maneuvered his non throwing hand between his right elbow and the ground to brace for the fall. Sacrificing the non throwing appendage to save the critical throwing arm.
That’s exactly my perspective. My company is based out of Cleveland and I work with a lot of Browns fans. I feel bad they are let down by ownership, but ownership is getting what they deserve.
Not that it makes much of a difference but to close the rookie year gap just slightly, Mahomes did start one game his first year, so not like he didn’t see the field at all. No touchdowns and one interception.
Yeah me too… I was in the bathroom and I heard a bunch of MF’ers coming from the living room and was very confused.
Thought maybe Collisworth went off on a tangent or something.
Actually São Paulo is one hour ahead of EST. It’s weird to think about but looking at the map, the eastern cost of South America is very far to the East of our eastern coast.
I agree, it was more than just the Jets game. A lot of good quarterbacks have bad games and Allen has had quite a few. These guys just don’t seem to have that “it” factor though. Good games at times and good teams keeping them in a lot of them but they just are not the X factor that wills teams to victory.
I know it’s week 1 and there is a lot of sloppy play (remember the Bills/Jets game last year) but neither of these QBs look like they even should even be in conversation for star players this year.
I have to admit, sometimes I like to turn sporting events to the Spanish simulcast just because the Spanish screaming makes things a bit more interesting. The Portuguese isn’t too far off.
