49ers are and it’s not really that close. I called bengals Niners a few weeks ago and was laughed at. Niners are only team that can stop the bengals.

You can get even better odds taking bengals ML and 49ers to cover the spread. 49ers only at -3.5 is free money. The general public betting the cowboys down to +3.5 is hilarious. If you want free money go take the Niners to cover. Honestly they’re going to roll the cowboys by maybe 2 TDs. Of course I’m biased here as I put a really healthy amount on the Niners to win the SB a few months ago after lance got injured.

We’ll just accept that this is what frazier is going to do, even though everything tells you we should the opposite. No one gets the ball out quicker with success than burrow and their line is banged up. Seems like a good time to bring some heat and jam the revivers. Instead we will rush 4 and play way off the LOS like we always do. Why? Because that’s what frazier does. He does it against teams with bad receivers so now we are playing the team with the best WRs in the league. He’s not changing. We need playoff josh to show up, not drunk josh. Can’t turn the ball over and need to get 6 not 3 every drive to match burrow. Do that and we have a shot.

Giants will make this a game, don’t turn it off yet.

I can’t stress enough how different Baltimores defense is from ours and how much better suited to defend Cincinnati they are. It’s not the same. They can rush burrow with 4. They have Marcus Peter’s and Marlon Humphrey to cover Chase and Higgins and Hamilton in thr slot too for coverage. Not to mention Roquan smith in the middle. Remember this when chase is getting open constantly and Higgins is finding soft spots in Fraziers zones. I do think we will give the bengals D some problems but fundamentally this is a bad matchup.

These are all valid points. I took the bengals -5 based upon this also. I don’t view the bengals banged up o line as a huge advantage for us without Von. Both the stats and my eyes tell me we can’t get after the qb with much consistency anymore so adding that to the fact that burrow has time to hit his trio of great receivers against our overmatched DBs, and it’s a recipe for a long night. I’m way more confident in the 49ers -4 though. That line is an absolute joke and just free money. Niners are going to roll.

99% agree with Simms here. Diggs is scary and Davis can be from a long ball standpoint. But we definitely lack in the weapons department. I’d say from a total weapons standpoint, the 49ers, Bengals, eagles and maybe the chiefs all have better weapons than we have. Niners are the best with unlimited YAC monsters, and bengals and eagles have better receivers overall. The sooner we all realize this team is really just josh and Diggs, the sooner we can all accept some of these truths. I just want Beane to realize it too so he can start to properly address it., plus the O line which is awful too

I’m afraid this is the case. Von getting hurt just changed my outlook. I like Groot but he’s not some monster game changer and then the rest are just JAGs on the line. I’d like to think the bengals being undermanned on the o line will be our advantage but I’ve thought that several times this year and the bills d line doesn’t get home. if you can’t get to burrow, you’re already beat. Their WRs are incredible at the catch point. Our DBs struggle with that. Their WRs are incredible at YAC, we can’t tackle. You do the math. The o line SUCKS too. Josh sacked 7 times is inexcusable.

Josh has to be perfect this time. There are advantages there to be had. Eli Apple can be worked for sure but josh doesn’t have the kind of weapons that burrow has and I’m worried he’s going to be running for his life again with how bad our o line is and how good Hendrickson is. Use your eyes and not just stats, they’re misleading. We don’t have a Marcus Peter’s or Marlon Humphrey or Kyle Hamilton. They match up way better with the bengals than we do plus they’re a division opponent. I’m glad you have confidence in frazier though. That’s a bold strategy.

Don’t base your expectations of how good the bengals are based off of how well the ravens D played. We don’t have the ravens D. Josh can’t turn the ball over again like today. He’s going to have to be perfect to match what burrow and chase are going to do to our DBs.

Mahomes is still #1. Burrow is #2 though. He’s so damn accurate and poised too. Josh has more freakish talent but his numerous dumb plays puts him at #3 to me.

Chase will likely have 200+ yards and 3 TDs Sunday against us.

Chase is unstoppable. Like literally can’t stop him. Add in Higgins and Boyd and I don’t know what you do. Dane Jackson is going to get COOKED all night

Burrow may throw 4 TDs against us this weekend, 3 of them might go to chase. Could get really ugly

Anytime you need this defense to stand up, they’ll fail you. Even against skylar Thompson

If you think the D is bad today (and it is) wait until burrow and chase shred us next week
