OT…Daniel Jones about to be a very very rich man

Take it all the way back to Ray Charles - Hit The Road Jack! -
Like one of the talking heads said last year, they are paying a person $100 million to announce games who has never said anything interesting in his life.

Im convinced its coaching (Chiefs showing how to handle Bengals)
Sestak4ever replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier sets up his defense like Josh and our offense is going to score every time we have the ball. When the opposing defense stops our offense he doesn’t, or can’t, make the defensive adjustments, such as press coverage to counter the opposition’s quick throws and short game. Frazier plays it as though the opposition will always be playing catch up. -

Running the defensive scheme that Frazier employs also reduces the opportunities for turnovers. If there isn't enough pressure on the qb then the db's just sit back and tackle receivers after they make the catch. No aggressiveness on the back end and definitely never tight presses on the line of scrimmage. -
Bill Parcells says Josh Allen needs help

He says we need a lot of work on defense and offense. So, where do we start? Coordinators maybe? Some key personnel? Big off season questions for Beane and company. -
Should we trade Ed Oliver?

Players obviously need to perform to expectations, but I also wonder if any of their under performing is due to how the coaching staff uses them and the schemes they are used in? I guess that’s a question Beane and McDermott need to answer. -
He did such a great job with Russell Wilson, they must figure to give him a shot with another Mr. Wilson.😆

Love it! This is the Jests being the Jests.

As many have said this injury takes time to fully heal and regain your speed and form. Tre is a dog, extremely smart and he leaves everything on the field. He will be fine next season. There are a lot more parts of him other than the physical game that are difficult to replace.

The misuse of Cook and Hines was borderline criminal

The misuse of Cook and Hines was borderline criminal

Are you suggesting trying to isolate Cook on a linebacker and letting him use his speed and cutting ability to take the pressure off of Josh in blitzing situations, the way Georgia used him? How we heard about that all off season, but we refused to use him in that capacity and never played to one of his strengths. Watch some of his tape with Georgia and his pass catching ability is obvious. -
Dorsey hasn’t utilized Cook properly. The talk all off season was how we would use him catching passes out of the backfield and isolating him on linebackers as they did in Georgia. We never used him in that capacity, which would have helped Josh tremendously and negated the many blitzes we saw.

Sometimes it seems difficult to assess draft picks when coaching staffs don’t utilize them properly and don’t play to their strengths. All off season the talk was how good Cook was at catching passes and getting him isolated with a linebacker in coverage. I don’t think we ever used him in that capacity at all. Just seems like we are wasting his talents, which would also be a huge boost to Josh and work well against all the blitzes we saw. Hardly used Shakir while McKenzie was underperforming all season. These are just a couple examples, but makes me scratch my head.

Home field used to mean something to past Bills teams. You defended your home turf and made away teams tremble just thinking about playing here. Not this team. That mental toughness comes down from the coaches. Levy, Saban and even Knox would not get pushed around at home. We used that to our advantage. There was no fear from Miami or New England over those last few games, including the wild card game. It showed in the way the games were played. Thank goodness for Hines two returns for td's against the Pats. Something just seems to be different or missing. Can't really put my finger on it, but it just feels that way.

I agree with the sentiment that Dorsey does not keep Josh under control and help him identify open receivers versus taking shots into the end zone. An OC needs to sit down with Josh and rein him in. Maximize his talents by giving him easier reads, reviewing the missed options and adjusting his thought process.

Changes need to be based upon the entire work of the full season. Our defense has lead the league in missed tackles for most of the year. Too many games having wide receivers wide open and zero pass rush, especially with Miller out. Frazier needs to be replaced. Our defensive strategy is not aggressive enough, even saw that from him last year against KC in the playoff game. Beane has his work cut out this off season with both the players and coaching staff.
