  1. What else have you heard? Did they say anything about what the sense of the team is as far as their needs go? Is there an acknowledgement they need to get more weapons and improve the OL? Feelings about Dorsey or Frazier?
  2. The only thing I had heard about that was Diggs was telling Josh to "not listen to him" meaning Dorsey.
  3. I think you're reading into things and trying to add context that isn't there. We need more guys like Diggs, not less.
  4. We've reached the level where I've seen a fair number of people saying we need to trade Diggs, which makes zero football or financial sense whatsoever.
  5. So is Josh not a better QB than Jim because Jim is in the HOF?
  6. I don't get it. I really don't. So many people get butthurt over stuff like this and they will literally take it personal. You know what? If you asked Josh who should've won MVP, I'm sure he says, "the guy that did". I wish more of our own fans had the humility and the humbleness of the QB they so irrationally defend.
  7. That was my takeaway. I didn't seen anything that said he disliked Brady. Montana didn't like being compared to him because he thinks they both played in different eras.
  8. Crying over schedule is no different than crying about refs. Give me a break. It's pathetic and you don't even realize how pathetic it sounds. The fact Mahomes is playing in the SB proves the right person won. I don't have to prove anything. It's hilarious watching Bills fans literally admit the Chiefs are better than the Bills in an attempt to make excuses for Allen and downplay how good Mahomes is.
  9. So if that's an indictment of Mahomes who has won a ring and is playing in his third SB, what does that say about Allen, who has lost to Mahomes multiple times in the playoffs and never been to a SB? Your homerism is showing.
  10. Your entire argument is based on excuses rather than results on the field. A QB doesn't win MVP because there was someone out on their defense. They don't win MVP for playing a different schedule. They don't win MVP based on one game. Get real. Drop the excuses, drop the homerism. You can't look at anything objectively because you can't set aside your homerism for two seconds. The right person won MVP this year and any objective person can admit that. They have Kelce. That's it. If you're claiming any of the others are, post their stats and we'll explore.
  11. Because he's the only legit threat the Bills have, which I've already explained to you. It's not rocket science to understand that a defense can isolate one WR if that's their only true weapon.
  12. OK, minus getting into how the Chiefs draft better, what does that have to do with the Bills, who were dominated on both sides of the ball by Cincy, a team the Chiefs beat and are now playing for a title? Mahomes is the MVP and is playing in his 3rd SB, no matter how much you hate him or his team. Why can't Bills fans take off the homer blinders once and awhile?
  13. He was neutralized by the 9-7-1 G-Men in their own house. Might want to rethink that one.
  14. Your WR1 gets fed more balls on any team. That's how it works. That's why he's WR1. And his drops are insignificant compared to the number of big catches he's made. And considering the Bills would have to eat $12M in dead cap this off-season to get rid of the best receiver on this team, I can't see a dumber idea.
  15. Travis Kelce is the Chiefs best receiver, so let's not pretend that a receiver needs to lineup on the outside or the slot to be able to fill that roll. That's #1. Our offense proved this very year that our WR1 is not enough in the playoffs against good teams even with a generational talent like JA17 at QB. When the opponent can double one guy and roll coverage towards that guy and nobody else is of real concern to get open on a consistent basis, you indeed have a problem at WR. That's #2. This discussion is about Diggs and his contributions and role in this offense. Nobody said we don't need changes to the OL. That's #3. An O-line change is not going to fix the issues with Davis not catching balls he should've had and should be expected to make as WR2. That's #4.
  16. Yeah, that's rough no matter how you slice it.
  17. Diggs could possibly be traded in the future, but I can't see how it's this offseason. We are really in no position to eat his $12M cap hit this year regardless of what we got back in the trade.
  18. Agree. I say as much in a later post. If the top prospects are gone in the first when it gets to us, I'd hope they either take a top OL or even trade out of the first and pick up an extra pick or two since we've only got six.
  19. Flowers is only 5' 9" so I think he'd struggle on the outside and would automatically be at a disadvantage against a lot of DBs. Not saying he can't, but I'm sure that's something they'll look at. Tillman and Hutch are both considered outside the top 10 prospects. Not saying they can't play outside, but I was referring mainly to the guys you could possibly see us go for in the first round. Not really counting on him being there, but Hyatt would probably be the best of the bunch to use outside given his size and how good he is in 1v1s. Don't expect Downs to be there either, but he could play outside if need be. He reminds me of Diggs when I watch him run routes. Rice is the most natural of the bunch on the outside and probably goes late first round and Boutte, who played both, in the second round.
  20. Basically all the receivers that we might have a legit shot at are slot guys except Rice and Boutte.
  21. Diggs has caught over 100 balls each of the last 3 seasons, is the only receiver we have that puts any fear in defenses, and you wanted to get rid of him last season? We're in need of a legit WR2 and you're talking about getting rid of our WR1. 😆
  22. Our Diggs is a bigger piece of our team than their Diggs is to their's. He should come here. We'll give them Ed 😂
  23. You're saying that wasn't simply his emotions running hot in the Cincy game and he actually wants out of Buffalo? What are you basing this on?
  24. Nope, extremely happy for Dabs and I hope they keep improving on the success they had this season.
  25. Agreed. The NFL has shifted and coaches (particularly defensive coaches) either learn to adapt, or they get left in the dust. The adage "defense wins championships" isn't as true as it used to be. With the high-powered offenses and the rules always being adjusted in favor of the offense and scoring more points, there has to be a point where a coach decides that the defense doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to be good enough and you can't continue dumping your best resources into one side of the ball, when the side you need to score points is being carried by one guy, and against good teams, needs help to win.
