🤮 Nah, I was thinking more along the lines of the Belgian variety. -

TSW Mock Draft 3.0 Poll - Who should the Bills take at #34

WR room is way too crowded if we add DHop to then draft another. We still have Shakir, who I still see having a productive career. Got to address OL. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Billz4ever replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they somehow do pull off a trade for DHop, I don't see where there's any possibility they then turn around and draft a WR high right after that.. -

You mean Dr's don't recommend jumping on tables with a bad back? 😂 -
I don't hate the idea of a pass rusher, but we've been burned on guys so many times now at DE that I'm really gun shy about taking them early.
-
Kiper is smoking his special draft day recipe early today. Lots of teams do the very thing you described. BPA. If Robinson somehow fell to 27, he'd for sure be the best player on the board.
-
That's why my position has always been the only way we take a RB is if it's Robinson and he falls to us at our normal draft position. Not a likely scenario at all, but just one of those ideas you keep in your back pocket if some crazy things happen on draft day.
-
IDK, on the crazy off chance Robinson were to slide (I don't think it's going to happen) I think Beane would have to give it a pretty hard thought before he passed.
-
Well, I wouldn't say they aren't with absolute certainty because Beane does love him some RBs. It would be nice if he and Dorsey got on the same page this season. Remember Beane's reasoning for trading for Hines? Never happened.
-
Because they're the Texans for a reason. Trainwreck.

We drafted Cook in the second round last year and his playing time was extremely limited early on. That's why I don't think even if we did draft a RB, which doesn't make sense with the much higher needs we have at other positions, the rookie would see significant playing time in such a crowded backfield.
-
I don't think we paid Harris almost $4M just to be depth and neither do I think we re-signed Hines for 2yrs/$9M just to return kicks. Not to mention, by the end of the season last year, Cook's playing time was significantly higher than the beginning of the season and he played well with the opportunities he had. Sinking another high draft pick into the RB room we already have would be extremely foolish, especially if it's someone other than Robinson, who's not going to make it to 27.

UPDATED - v3.0 (FINAL) on p.13 - Gunner's 2023 Mock Draft
Billz4ever replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we are able to land Addison at 27, first, I'll be extremely happy. Second, extremely surprised. He's a Diggs clone if I've ever seen one and even though Diggs is good picking up extra yards, I think Addison may be even better RAC. -
TSW Mock Draft 3.0 Poll - Who should the Bills take at #34
Billz4ever replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep, better have a contingency plan in-place there. Putting all their faith in Brown would be a huge mistake. -
Why would a rookie get 12-15 touches/game in this offense, on a roster that already has 3 RBs? One of which was just signed this offseason, another a second round pick a year ago, and a third being a guy they re-signed for 2 yrs/$9M. If one guy is getting 12-15 touches a game, that means the others aren't getting much of anything. That's why a single feature back makes no sense in this offense, so drafting another one high in the draft makes even less sense.
-
I still can't see the Bills dressing 4 RBs every week no matter what round we're talking.

Wr Overload and what really needs to get done
Billz4ever replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
No it wouldn't. This offense clearly started to sputter at times and it all started in the second half of the packer game. Teams do not respect any receiver on this team outside of a guy named Diggs. Teams either doubled him or rolled coverage to his side, which made it harder for him to get open. We were literally pulling guys out of retirement last year. Does that sound like a team with huge confidence in the WR room? Without a legit #2 either through FA or the draft, this will be a repeated theme. Maybe they're hanging their hat on Davis finally breaking through this season, but they did that last year and it hurt them. I've said it since the end of last season...priorities for this offseason are #1, give Josh protection, and #2, give Josh weapons and so far, the guys we've signed don't move the needle all that much, IMO. The line should automatically be better without Saffold there whiffing a couple times a game, but that's not saying much. Philly was #2 in the league in yards/game allowed last season and #1 in sacks (15 more than the #2 team) and looked powerless to stop the Chiefs. We do not need to spend high draft picks on defense (again). -
Will the Bills make a draft selection in the first round?
Billz4ever replied to WickedGame's topic in The Stadium Wall
Who knows, they might get lucky. If a team picks mid first & mid second and has their eyes on another player projected to go late first round/early second round and they don't see him falling to the mid second, they might be willing to trade up. -
Yeah, that first ballot HOFer and loser, Jim Kelly. Shady is obviously still mad about what Kelly said about the stretching during the anthem thing. The Bills SB losses have nothing to do with if a RB or WR is the better option for the Bills now. Shady going there is low class.
-
Awesome. Don't forget you also have access to YouTube music as well. Very well worth the $10 a month IMO.
-
No, your YTTV subscription needs to remain active during the ticket length. You would need to get the non-YTTV version (youtube primetime channel version). That's also $100 off right now, but would cost you $349 without redzone or $389 with.
-
While I don't disagree the line needs improvement in several areas, I don't think we need to take 2 OL right from the start. This is a pretty light draft in most areas except for OL. There will be quality OL available even after the second round. If you go back and watch a lot of the sacks Josh took or plays where he was flushed from the pocket to the left or the right or pulled in down and ran, he was actually holding the ball too long quite often. Why? Either he's not locating the open receiver going through his progression, or nobody is actually open. We need a playmaker and a guy besides Diggs that can get open.

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
Billz4ever replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why do people keep bringing this up? It has been that way for the past couple seasons. -
I'd check again. It doesn't show me how much it costs to sign up because I'm already a member, but other recent sources I've checked say it's $11.99/mo or $119.99 for the year. That's only $10 a month for the annual. For some reason, it says it's $16/mo if you sign up through the iOS app, which I guess is because Apple wants a cut. https://www.idownloadblog.com/2023/04/11/new-youtube-premium-features-shareplay-enhanced-1080p-quality-mobile-queue-smart-downloads/
