  1. They've painted themselves into a nice corner here. It seems they might have even convinced themselves that this was a good WR room with all the preseason hype of teams not being able to key in on 1 guy. They were only right in the sense they don't have to key in on ANY guy since there's not a receiver on this roster a team really has to gameplan for. If they don't make some sort of move to improve the room, yes, they might still make the playoffs, but against good teams, they will just get exposed quickly like they have the last two weeks.
  2. So this makes me wonder...does Josh continue to believe in McD and Beane out of some sense of loyalty, or at some point in the next few seasons does he come to the realization it's not going to happen for him with this current regime if the Bills can't take the next step or actually starts to go backwards, and either asks for a trade or decides not to re-sign with the Bills at the end of this contract? It's got to start to wear on a player after awhile.
  3. Dude says to stop putting words in his mouth then proceeds to do exactly that to others. 😂 Where did I ever say we believed it, eh? Ever think that people are tired of getting BS'ed? Apparently not.
  4. You're acting like there's all these people surprised by what's happening. There's not. At least not by people who've been paying attention.
  5. Again, who's surprised? Pretty sure most of us called this except those that drank the Kool-Aid the team was putting out about this WR room.
  6. Why do you keep claiming (falsely BTW) people are surprised when half of this board or more have been saying this WR room isn't good enough before and after the draft? It's like you're saying we have no right to complain when exactly what we said was the problem is rearing its head.
  7. We're not beating anyone in the playoffs with this WR room if we even make it there. The only silver lining is that our division appears to be hot garbage.
  8. Yes, nobody should be surprised they've been gaslighting us trying to act like everything is fine, and in-fact, making it sound like they'd be even better. 🙄
  9. Didn't he say something to the effect of "he would've preferred to run at least once" or something along those lines? That's him throwing his coordinator under the bus. Ultimately, he's still responsible. He should've already told Brady what he would like to do there, even as a general framework, before the drive even started.
  10. LMAO dude says I'm gaslighting when this FO and coaching staff have been doing exactly that to this fan base the entire off season. "everyone eats" 😂
  11. No one should be surprised? They literally tried selling it to the fan base that this WR room would be even better because we don't have a true #1 for opponents to key on that they could box and take away. Total BS. The only part of that they were correct on is that we don't have a #1.
  12. I hope you're right. After what we've watched the last two weeks, I don't know how they could possibly think standing pat with what they have is going to fly.
  13. Mack Hollins is not a starting caliber WR on any playoff team in this league. We're kidding ourselves and aren't serious if we think he is. I don't know what's going on with Samuel. Shakir is clearly our best. Coleman is doing OK for a rook and will have growing pains. MVS is about worthless and it's clear why KC let him go. This is a bottom tier WR room by any objective standard.
  14. Do people still think this team is capable of making a playoff run with the current WR room? I don't and I hope there's some kind of move made to improve it, or I expect more games like the last two weeks.
  15. So you admit Knox is vastly overpaid for the role he's in? And I'm still trying to hear what's the point of using Samuel is if he can't run like you're saying. He hasn't been on the injury report since week 1 (a month ago) where he was FP the entire week anyway.
  16. So if Samuel can't run, why would they be trying to use him in gadget and screen plays, when screens especially rely on speed and the ability to make people miss? And you're telling me they paid Knox all that money to block, which he's not great at anyway? Are you serious right now?
  17. Hindsight?🙄 They're choosing not to use these guys and Bass was washed last year.
  18. Let's see...the Samuel signing looks absolutely ridiculous at this point. Waste of $$ right there. Knox is also a waste at this point. Signing Bass to a 4 year/$21M extension was dumb. The cap situation the team is in is all their own doing. The Bills have draft capital and some cap room. They chose not to use it and go with the "everybody eats" gimmick instead, which has left everyone starving the last two weeks. "Everyone eats" only works if the guys you have are actually starting caliber WRs on a team expecting to make a playoff run. They could make a move now but will probably sit on their hands rather than admit they made a mistake thinking this WR room was going to get it done.
  19. If I'm retooling, I'm starting with giving the franchise player the proper tools, not pretending Mack Hollins is a starting WR on a team still planning on making a playoff run.
  20. I follow the entire NFL, but I'm only a Bills Fan. Period.
  21. I don't know how he isn't concussed. I really hope they're keeping an eye on him.
  22. Josh looked off all day, but nobody can convince me getting his head bounced off the turf didn't make it even worse. He was playing like we were losing and needing to push the ball down the field rather than just getting a 1st down.
  23. It would've been one thing if they were high percentage throws. Your QB is struggling mightily, just had his head bounced off the turf and looked like he was out for a second, then you're throwing like you're playing from behind from your own endzone. Too many things can go wrong and I'm surprised they didn't. Holding in the EZ, sack, tipped ball...just way more unnecessary risk. Run twice, pickup a few yards, and who knows...maybe one breaks open for a first. If not, run play action on 3rd down, roll him out, and either throw the short pass or have him run for the 1st. Unfrickinbelievable what I was watching.
  24. This front office has a bad case of group think and has for several years. They convince themselves in the offseason that areas everyone knows are problems will be OK and then they just press forward. Then, when the problems become apparent in the regular season, they make excuses and usually double down. Making a move right now is the correct answer, but they probably see it as an admission they were wrong and will sit on their hands. WR room and kicker were known issues going into this season and they stuck their heads in the sand and pretended they weren't.
