  1. If the tweet had said McLaurin instead of Deebo, it would be more believable.
  2. I asked this earlier in the thread. Seems like KC would be interested now that it seems the Jets are willing to sell everything.
  3. Wilson is a game changer for sure, but I suspect the asking price for the Bills would be stupid high if the Jets would even consider it at all.
  4. Deebo is washed and he's the better Samuel of the two.
  5. If a BTJ or Olave go to NE, the pitchforks will be out in force.
  6. Who is that and what reason do we have to believe anything they say?
  7. Anybody see the Chiefs making a move on Breece Hall now that it seems the Jets are selling everything?
  8. Lots of groupthink I believe. They seem to have convinced themselves they're fine or that somehow Gabe Davis is going to fix the few small issues they believe there to be.
  9. Big overpay, IMO but Indy clearly going all in.
  10. Hard to say. I think if Davis or Ty got injured, Gore gets elevated, so I think they believe he can play. I'd honestly be happy with Harrison Phillips on the D-line. Solid run stuffer who can hold his own. I'm still hoping for a boundary WR like Shaheed who can also return kicks. Codrington is still in a roster spot and is a healthy scratch. I'm not thrilled with Davis/Johnson and Shakir returning kicks.
  11. We have Frank Gore Jr. on the PS. I would think we'd give him a shot before we'd spend draft capital mid season in a sellers market on a position that isn't of great need right now.
  12. TE depth is a need, but I don't think high on the priority list as other positions. They have Latu on the PS. We've got Gore Jr. on the PS. No need for RB. Buchele is on the PS too.
  13. The Cowboys aren't making the playoffs so I don't know why they're even making these moves in the first place.
  14. They were playing or should I say still are playing Kair Elam, so it's on brand.
  15. And he can return kicks, which means Codrington can be let go considering he's occupying a roster spot and does nothing else.
  16. I wouldn't mind Olave, but Shaheed makes more sense to me because he can return kicks too. We've got Codrington occupying a roster spot and he's been a healthy scratch for several weeks now. Harrison Phillips makes sense due to all the injuries and question marks on the interior of the line.
  17. I would love Phillips and Shaheed. Shaheed makes the most sense to me since he can stretch the field and also return kicks. Codrington is still occupying a roster spot for nothing.
  18. I'm still on the WR train. Would love to see a field stretcher like Shaheed who can also return kicks. We can get rid of Codrington who serves no real purpose on this roster. Would like to get a solid DT too given all the injuries and question marks on the interior of the line.
  19. Watching him manhandle Chris Jones was a sight to see.
  20. If it were easy, don't you think it would already have been done? Do you honestly think that Beane is just sitting there with a legit opportunity to make the team better that he can swing with current cap considerations and is like "nah"? Bringing in a guy with a big contract is just not likely to happen.
  21. I don't even understand what you're complaining about. The timeouts they took were necessary because of personnel issues, not because he just took them to take them. Would you have preferred a penalty on the defense that would've given KC the first down on the KC FG attempt? Using the timeouts didn't bite them. Could it potentially have? Yes, but it didn't. So you're complaining about something that didn't matter anyway. Yep, I don't think it was even in question they were just going to be running the ball, so they should've already had a play ready to go. Don't rush the FG attempt. Didn't help the FG team didn't seem to have urgency getting on the field.
  22. Darnold putting on a clinic against Washington. A perfect first half. 4 TDs. Washington's secondary looks terrible.
  23. They had to know they had no timeouts left and were running the ball on 3rd down to keep the clock moving. Definitely should've had more urgency getting the FG team in position faster for sure. 12 men on the KC FG is inexcusable. Don't know what was going on there.
  24. With his 114 yards tonight against KC, Cook has 867 on the season, which puts him just 133 yards from 1K. With a good dose of Cook against Miami next week, he could possibly cross that mark next week. He didn't break 1K until the meaningless game against NE in week 18 last year. Crazy. He is the key to this offense for sure. I can't imagine where this team would be right now without him.
  25. I honestly couldn't believe he was getting so much playing time in Dallas. They had to find out what we already knew.
