  1. Sorry, but pointing to another call is not a valid defense of an obvious hold not called.
  2. LMAO, I post a pic of a clearly obvious hold and this dude is defending the zebras like his Dad is the referee.
  3. No, that's not a "level playing field" because not all penalties are the same and when and where they are called and where they are NOT CALLED makes a huge difference. You seem to want to defend these refs for a terrible game. This squad should have disciplinary actions taken against them for such a badly called game.
  4. If my only job was to call things like this and I'm missing calls this obvious, I would get fired. These were obvious holds that everyone on TV were watching in real time with refs right there and no call. They can penalize referee squads and the amount of bad calls in this game seriously warrants such action.
  5. The only thing consistent about the refs in this game is they were consistently bad.
  6. We're still on this? How is it so hard to believe the refs threw the flag on a defender that literally hesitated to make the hit, then after ball was thrown, decides to engage anyway and hit the QB high up in the upper chest, close to the chin? Are you kidding me right now?
  7. And McD has never been a good offensive coach or good evaluator of offensive talent. And AGAIN, given our other backs aren't doing much of anything, I'd love to hear him explain that thought process.
  8. Or it's McD not being able to manage RBs, like we've known for years. See, I can speculate too. Yep, makes zero sense. Dude was drafted as a dual threat like Kamara and they refuse even to try to use him that capacity.
  9. That's not logic, that's speculation. You're attempting to draw a conclusion based on information you aren't privy to. And again, our other RBs aren't doing much either, so the same flawed thought process can be applied there just as easy. Neither Moss or Motor are injured, have gotten most of the playing time and aren't producing much of anything. The only difference is the two guys that have been here longer get to play and not produce instead of being the new guy, not play, and not produce.
  10. Because that is a bang-bang play, not easy to see at full speed. Holding is quite easy to see in comparison. This hold literally continued for several seconds.
  11. Please do. Takedowns are not necessarily holding.
  12. The combined record last year of the teams they've played so far this year is 21-46-1. They will face good teams and they will lose. The Dolphins at #2? LMAO, what is this based on?
  13. So, you're chalking up his very scare playing time to him underperforming in practice and you know this how? Do you have some insider knowledge the rest of us don't have? And considering our other backs are getting playing time, but aren't producing a whole heck of a lot, your logic makes no sense.
  14. You tell me considering other players and the coaching staff have been singing his praises since training camp. Now you provide any evidence at all that shows he's been underperforming in practice. That's nothing but pure speculation.
  15. Yep, and Cook ain't the RB that fumbled the ball today that lead to 7 pts for the other team. So if you want to make the focus about the guy who dropped the ball on his one and only target, that's on you, but it doesn't make much sense.
  16. Agreed. These claims his performance must be lacking in practice too contradicts literally everything we've heard about him from other players and coaches. It's people making crap up is all it is.
  17. And I'm not writing him off and calling him a bust because of a fumble and a dropped pass. Cook's drop pass was one of many today. Some had more than one and still got other opportunities to make up for it. Cook had 1 target and somehow people are actually claiming he's a bust because of a fumble in game 1 and a dropped ball in game 4. Unbelievable
  18. So if he's bad in practice, why would they put him in the game at all then? Let's at least try to use some logic here.
  19. And what you just said is just as much speculation as anything anyone else has said, but the fact remains, he hasn't been given many opportunities.
  20. All I know is the RB that turned the ball over today isn't named Cook, yet Cook who had one target today and dropped the ball, is somehow the problem here and according to many clowns in this thread are calling him a bust 4 games into the season.
  21. With all the drops today and another RB who coughed up the ball, it's hard to believe your focus is on the 1 drop Cook had in his one target. His opportunities? You mean opportunity considering he got 1 target today. A RB did turn the ball over today and it wasn't Cook.
  22. So if he's not going to get some real playing time, how is it people think they can accurately critique him, especially when this team's running game is near non-existent anyway and these vets you speak of aren't doing much of anything either?
  23. LMAO. You actually have to get a real chance to play to accurately critique a player. If you call 1 target today a real chance, I don't know what to tell you.
  24. Absolutely ridiculous to think anyone can accurately critique Cook 4 games in with few amount of touches he's had.
