NFL Week #2 - 9/19/22 Titans at Bills 1st half thread Gameday
Lost replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Praying for Dane, I think he's one of the most overperforming players on this team. Having said that, I feel okay having Johnson, Benford and Elam out There and Tre coming back soon. As long as we dont drop any more CBs next few weeks we should be okay -

Good game for Tua no doubt but as long as we're keeping things in perspective, the Ravens were dead last in the league in passing yards allowed in 2021. 3rd last in passing TDs allowed. Bills were first in both categories. I don't expect to see those kind of numbers against Buffalo or any competent defense.

Only thing I dont like with some of these designs is you end up with only like 30% of the field getting any sunlight during day games. Just looks weird.

Can't you just screenshot the ticket image too? Then you need no signal whatsoever and don't have to worry about closing the app

Are the commercials like 3 times louder than the game broadcast for anyone else?

I'd rather the Bills play in SoFi stadium in January than KC.

McDermott/Beane press conference 8/27: Matt Araiza released
Lost replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Growing up I always assumed news reporters were purely objective. I had great respect for people like Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather, Lester Holt. It wasn't until the last 7 years when it became very obvious how blatantly biased even the most respected(at the time) news anchors are. The framing of questions in press conferences are always worded in a way to get confirmation of the pre-drawn conclusion from the reporter/outlet and automatically demonize the interviewee if they provide an unapproved response. This goes for right and left leaning outlets. The job of a reporter is to gather facts/information and present them to the viewer and let the viewer make judgements on their own. The most honest reporters provide both the opponent and proponent viewpoints. Very few do that anymore.- 873 replies

Great breakdown by Mike Catalana of the decision made today. -
Matt Araiza accused of rape, served with a lawsuit.

I don't share @Chandler#81 sentiment here but he may be right, at least partially about him not being charged. As @Delusional Bills Optimist posted in this thread, there is much higher burden of proof in the criminal arena. This is my stance as well. I hate to see someone's life ruined until they've been proven guilty but what is out there already and that Araiza has admitted to, he at the very least committed statutory rape and then was not forthcoming with the Bills about it. That alone is enough reason for me not really want him on this team regardless of the gang rape allegations. The real reason I want him cut though is because this entire situation now is coming at the detriment to the TEAM. We are coming up on opening week of what is supposed to be the Bills year and now have this giant distraction taking center stage. I want the Bills to be able to focus on football. I want our coach to be able to sleep at night and now worry about these things. If the kid ultimately ends up getting cleared in court, good for him. I'm sure he'll still go on to a lucrative career in the NFL. He may get picked up by another team now if we cut him, who knows. But this just isn't a good look for a team that prides itself on building around character. For a +8 net yards he might have given us two or three times a game there is no way it's worth the headache this organization and fans are going to have to endure for the foreseeable future.
