This season is really gonna depend on how much Ken Dorsey can evolve as a playcaller. He needs to learn how to scheme guys open, run more 4 wide sets and dial up more quick routes. I personally hate when Bills run a lot of 12 man packages with extra tight ends helping in pass protection. It literally leaves Josh with 3 options 1) Try and thread the needle into a double covered Diggs, 2) throw to stone handed Gabe who never gets much separation, or 3) run the ball which McD seems pretty hell bent on not doing anymore with his QB.

We took a chance on Allen who was a raw talent with questions regarding his throwing consistency. Sometimes you just never know. There are players that can be coached into better mechanics and change their career trajectory completely.

I was about to disagree with your assessment that Allen would still have 12 Prime years left but looking back at a lot of the top tier QBs from our league it seems a lot of them had some of their best seasons towards the end of their career while pushing 40. These guys all have 5000+ passing yd seasons after age 36. Ben Roethlisberger Aaron Rodgers Peyton Manning (holds single season record for both yards and TDs at age 37) Tom Brady Drew Brees

Singletary is incredibly consistent and healthy. Not bad qualities to have.

Beane didn't seem like he was really targeting a big name playmaker RB judging by his presser. Sounded more like he was talking more about adding depth when replying to question about adding a bigger size RB.

We'll never fix the run game 'til we improve the OL. We improve the OL Singletary and Cook just get better. So does the passing game. If there's no market out there for Singletary then hopefully that means we just get him back for a more team friendly deal. Focusing too heavily on RB is misplaced priorities IMO. We have bigger needs at guard, WR2 and MLB still. That being said if we were to grab Bijan Robinson at 27 this year I would not be upset as there just isn't anyone great at the other positions we need early on.
