Beasley was a guy Josh trusted to get up and make the catch on those crucial 3rd down situations. Bease may not be as fast as he once was but he knows how to find those open spots in zone coverage and I trust his hands as much as Diggs. Maybe we can run some more 4 wide sets too with him back. I think this actually makes a sizeable impact for our offense for the rest of the season.
Our overall 22 draft is a C- at this point.
Kaiir not starting.
Cook was an unnecessary pick and still hasn't proven much
Bernard too slow to be a starting LB
Shakir could be decent, still not enough snaps
Arazia no comment needed
Benford was the best pick in our draft
Not a lot of productivity here when you look around the league at other teams draft picks.
And McDermit wanted to wait weeks to work Hines into the lineup for a few passing plays. Makes no sense. McCaffrey having a field day immediately in SF, Baker pulls out a comeback win 3 days after signing with a team.
How many times should a team draft running back after running back expecting results before realizing that perhaps RB isn't the actual problem.
If you're team has a great OL, even a practice squad RB can look good.
The whole thing about him just wanting to win is hogwash. He just wants the team around him to win while he rests comfortably on his pile of money next to Tre White 😄
Bengals looked sharp against KC. I would certainly pick them to make another deep run into the playoffs this year and could be Buffalo's biggest challenge this season. I agree with @Mango though. The Bills, after their stretch of the last few games and mounting injuries need rest more than anything. I suspect they will spend extra time in the film room for the Dolphins and Cincy games coming up.
Unless he knows he's not up to the same level he used to be and is trying to bait the long term $$ knowing that it wont matter if he lives up to the hype once the deal is done.
Yeah, as much as I love Poyer and think he's absolutely vital to this defense, he's got what 7 years on Edmunds. But I can understand why Poyer would be feeling some frustration when we just gave a monster contract to Von Miller at the same age. Just hope Beane finds a way. Plus I'd like to have at least one more good run with Poyer AND Hyde on the field together. Best safety tandem in the league by far.
Also interested in hearing your thoughts on how we go about replacing either Edmunds or Poyer. Can we get by with the depth we have there for a year or two or do we need to target these positions early on in next years draft considering we already have glaring needs on OL and WR?
