Gunner's 2025 Mock Draft - v2.0 now LIVE on p.11
Lost replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd just trade @HOUSE for him -
I'll have what Sydney Sweeney is having

I like where you're going with this 👍😂

It still kinda bothers me that Joe Brady runs this offense like he has Daniel Jones at QB. We have one of the 2 best QBs in the league and we're morphing into a run first protect the ball offense. It makes no sense. 2 years ago the coaching staff were hell bent on trying to get Allen to run the ball less and protect his body. This year they were dialing up designed QB runs every 3rd play. The most dynamic offense the Bills have had in the Josh Allen era was in the 2021 playoff run and into early 2022 when we had an elite Diggs and could spread the field out more.

Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy

Watch Beane bring in someone like Dionte Johnson this offseason and act like he upgraded the WR room. -

He also commits a lot of penalties -
Will there be any shock organizational moves in the coming days/weeks?

I wish Kim was back to her normal healthy self and heavily involved in the organization. But I agree Terry seems loyal to his people is probably happy enough with what he has. -

No major changes but Beane absolutely needs to be on the hot seat this season. Too many 1st rd misses. And I'm sick of him bringing in like 5 JAG receivers every year and overpaying them(Sherfield, Hines, Harty, MVS, Claypool, Samuel) for barely any production. Just go out and find that one dude. -
Everybody eats was just a euphemism coaching staff spouted to cover the fact that the WR room sucked.

That's the problem, there's too many holes on D. We can add an elite corner or safety or whatever. We're still gonna get abused because someone else is gonna be open. A recurring theme deep in the playoffs seems to be that you can't stop these other elite QBs like Mahomes and Burrow, only hope to outscore them. I don't want to diminish those needs on D but IMO the position that's gonna have the biggest impact right now is WR.

Lets hear your thoughts on how we structure this team going into 2025. I'm personally of the opinion that this defense is a big mess right now with glaring needs in multiple spots. It's bad enough that I'm not sure the Bills can correct course and get back to having a top 5 defense just by adding 1 top tier DL, S or CB. Having a Kyle Hamilton or Myles Garret on this team right now still wouldn't be enough to change much especially with our current defensive philosophy. I feel like the offensive side of the ball is different however. We have a unicorn QB, a dynamic RB, stable OL but severely lacking at the boundaries. It's like a Ferrari sitting in our driveway but it's missing two wheels. Brady did an admirable job in covering up our teams weaknesses this season but I want us to be able to get back to that high powered offense that teams just can't stop and we're essentially 1 elite WR away from that happening. I hate the fact that Beane has blown two 1st rd picks on offensive targets that haven't amounted to much the last two seasons but until we find one that actually produces, it's still our biggest need IMO.

Even if Beane offers him 2 years 52 Million?
-
Our D is about 6 elite players away from being able to dominate and take over a game like against KC. Our O on the other hand is 1 elite WR away from being able to dominate and take over a game. Find us that elite WR, there's just too many holes on D to even bother. @HappyDays is right.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs
Lost replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is that narrated by Ron Burgundy? -
Haven't we essentially turned allen into a Brock Purdy game manager this year?

50 year old sauce doesn't sound that appealing..

Brian Daboll out there calling plays like he still has Josh Allen

These kinda remind me of the Bills 2022 schedule release video.

Base 4-minute Offense - How the Bills Win in January
Lost replied to Ralonzo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Only problem with this clock chewing 4 minute offense is when you get trigger happy refs. They're guaranteed to kill a good portion of your drives. We've seen it a lot this year. And we aren't the Chiefs are Patriots in that regard where the refs are basically on their rosters.
