I hate to knock Beane too much because I do love the guy and nobody knew how the offseason was going to play out but 2 years 13.5 million for Harty doesn't seem so great in retrospect. The colts signed McKenzie for 1.1 million. I doubt Harty is going to have the same production that McK did last year here for 6 times the price. Especially when he is going to have to split reps with Shakir and now Kincaid. I woulda rather saved that 13 million on Harty and made a real stab at a true number 2 in Hopkins.

Right. Pure gobbledygook. Would be on par for the way Beane works though, like bringing in a bunch of middling slot receivers on arguably overpaid contracts and then using your number 1 draft pick on a tight end and pivoting to running a more 12 man personnel.

Yeah. I can't really come up with another player in this league who if you removed them from the field would cause the team to basically implode moreso than Josh Allen. Mahomes is pretty vital to his team but even when they threw in Chad Henne in during the playoff game against the Bengals, he went on a 98yd scoring drive with them. One could make a case that Von Miller is the best edge rusher in the modern era but we went on a 6 game win streak without him last season.

Considering how a large part of this show revolves around the family life of players I have some doubts whether they would target Allen or any of the players you mentioned since most or all are unmarried without kids. Hope they do though.

I'm more curious how the Stefon Diggs saga plays out if we do in fact miss the playoffs this year. I personally give us an equal 15% chance of missing playoffs and 15% chance of making the SB.

I always felt a little embarrassed inside as a kid seeing a Bills player running around like a bobble head especially since I don't remember players from any other teams wearing them. On the other hand, I feared for our receivers lives every time we played the Steelers in the 90's. That defense they had was just nasty.

Devin Singletary had twice as many yards from scrimmage last year as Dawson Knox and nearly as many passing targets. Dawson Knox was awarded a 4 year 52 million contract extension. Singletary was released and now playing under a 1 year deal for under 3 million. Kinda crazy.

Its a weird dynamic going on in the NFL right now. I've felt like receivers have been getting overpaid in recent years and RBs underpaid. Statistically, Saquan Barkley had more yards from scrimmage as Stephon Diggs and just as many TDs. RBs also take a far bigger beating earning those yards and have a lot of added blocking responsibilities the WR doesn't. Despite this, the new WR contracts going around are like 7 million more per year more than top tier RBs.

I don't know if this would be a regression year. The only thing worse about this season is the schedule itself and lower expectations. On paper, the Bills look modestly better on offense. Just getting rid of Roger Saffold alone makes them better.

Biggest liabilities for this team IMO ranked below. 1) Offensive line. 2) Game planning/Playcalling. 3) Defensive unit as a whole vs. bigger physical running teams.

All the best QB stuff aside. Im not sure anyone would disagree that out of the group, Josh Allen is the most fun to watch.

I originally thought the design looked somewhat generic and just assumed Populus threw out a cookie cutter design proposal and Pegula just went with it. I feel better to see that there were a lot of people especially from the Bills side including Terry that were deeply involved in the design process and were looking for specific features etc. Hope our SB window stays open for at least 4 more years so we can bring a championship home in the new stadium.
