Majority of the populace are single issue voters and don't particularly pay much attention to politics. People like Josh Shapiro and Mark Kelly are unknowns outside of their own states. Barack Obama on the other hand was hugely popular among the democrat party, and I'm sure he would love having a 4th term. Michelle checks the all the boxes that Democrat voters prioritize these days being both female and black. I believe she has stated in the past that she wasn't interested in running for office, but the fact that Barack did not come out and endorse Kamala is interesting.

Probably not the best analogy to use considering how you're presidential nominee has launched her career on sucking.

Massive spending will never end under Democratic leadership. If they aren't funding trillions of dollars for all their activist issues, then they aren't being "progressive" which is pretty much what the party is built on. Sadly bipartisan spending is even worse. Then it's just both sides getting what they want. Massive funding for both the social activists and the industrial military complex.

The only person that gives them a better chance is Michelle Obama. For the same silly reasons that they have Kamala in there but with better brand recognition.

Tariffs are typically only inflationary for a basket of goods, not across the board and sice they are largely invoked by the executive branch, they can be quickly reversed making their effects only temporary when used as a negotiating tool.

Trumps last corporate tax cut in 2017 netted me a 30% pay raise, and I was nowhere near the top of the corporate ladder at the time. Gaslight all you want. Corporate tax cuts help every working individual. Funny you're not at all concerned about the insane inflation we've had the last 4 years.

What are you even going on about? Conspiracy theorists aren't beholden to one party. I personally enjoy reading them, not because I always believe them, but because they often provide just enough evidence to get people to ask questions. Many times they do end up being true. People were getting outright removed from social media in 2020 for suggesting that COVID actually came from a lab and not some wet market bat soup.

Trump has always had good instincts and mostly right on policy in my eyes. He hasn't been the best messenger though. I appreciate his genuineness when he speaks vs the the phony over-rehearsed garbage we get from most politicians but I can understand why it's not palatable for some. Thankfully we have good Republican's in the wings like Vivek Ramaswamy who is IMO by far the best speaker on the right at the moment. He's very Obama-esque in his delivery and I mean that in a good way. I didn't care for a lot of Obama's policies but he was a very good speaker. Hope people like Vivek can help pull in more of the younger moderates or those still on the fence about Trump. Watch his RNC speech if you haven't already. He manages to clearly articulate the Trump agenda in 8 minutes vs. the 90 minute rally speech from Donald and left the stage with the crowd fired up.
