  1. I’m not a moderator and have no say, but this should have been allowed to stay on the main forum for at least today.
  2. To me, the wall is equally about what the player meant to the team and community, as it is about their onfield accomplishment's. I realize that not everyone shares that sentiment But it is mine.
  3. I’m not sure if you’re genuinely not understanding or if you’re just trying to start a fight. But if it’s the latter, I don’t engage in fights. I walk away. One last time. There are about 6 teams that most people think are the front runners to win the AFC this year. All but 1 of those 6 (the Bengals) have a bye week that is within 1 week of the Bills bye week. Aka, it’s fair.
  4. "Frontrunners to represent the AFC"... Bills (Week 7), Titans (Week 6), Raiders (Week 6), Chiefs (Week 8), Chargers (Week 8), Bengals (Week 10). That's 6 teams.
  5. Relativity matters. Who are the frontrunners to represent the AFC this year? Bills (Week 7), Titans (Week 6), Raiders (Week 6), Chiefs (Week 8), Chargers (Week 8), Bengals (Week 10). With the exception of the Bengals, every expected-to-be-good team is within 1 week of the Bills bye week.
  6. The 2022 NFL schedule has some good news for the Bills. Buffalo has a +13-day net rest differential on its 2022 schedule, according to Seth Walder of ESPN. That’s the most favorable rest differential in the NFL. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/05/13/nfl-schedule-makers-gave-bills-a-key-advantage/
  7. No one should be put on the wall before Fred Jackson is. No one.
  8. I may take a gander.
  9. People say there isn’t a bad seat in the house, but I disagree. The club seats are where to be. Without question. From the sight lines, to the concessions, to the nicer bathrooms, nothing else in the stadium comes close.
  10. Wow, that’s a lot of questions. Did you mean to go to google.com? I kid, I kid.
  11. I still can’t bring myself to watch those 13 seconds, or overtime.
  12. I’d be shocked if the Rams were favored by 4.
  13. Perhaps it’s the emotional trauma from players not wanting to come here in the past, but my first was that he was not excited to be picked by Buffalo.
  14. He… doesn’t look thrilled. Or maybe he’s baked.
  15. The first time i’ve scratched my head at a Beane pick.
  16. I'm willing to co-sponsor this thread and increase the prize to a jersey, if OP wishes. Ball caps do nothing for me personally. DL OL OL CB RB CB
  17. This is a fascinating example of fandom.
  18. I never said that or intimated that. I simply said Beane chose not to tender him for what would have been a slightly lower amount, and would have provided additional protection (via a 2nd round pick).
  19. I find this very peculiar. Beane did not tender him with a 2nd round designation that would have given abates $3.9 million and would have provided the Bills with a 2nd round pick if he was signed elsewhere. But Beane was willing to give him a 4 year deal with an average of more than $4 million per season. I must be missing something.
  20. I didn’t realize they increased. I was using last years (2021) numbers:
  21. $3.3 million is the cost of a 2nd round tender. $2.2 million is the cost of the tender the Bills gave Bates. For $1M more, the Bears or Vikings would have had to send the Bills a 2nd round pick to sign him. Which probably wouldn’t happen. So we would have him in 2022 for $3.3M.
  22. I would label that as a good problem to have.
  23. Perhaps this is one of the many reasons why he is an NFL gm and I am not, but I find it hard to reconcile that he would want the player on the team at $2.3 million, but not $3.3 million? The difference is so slight that it doesn’t make sense to me.
