    I’m genuinely surprised that Beane allowed a measly $1 million to be the difference between keeping and losing Bates.

    It’s kind of funny watching people hype up the signing, and then as soon as he backs out “oh he wasn’t that good anyway”.

    There are reports that Daboll was the pick when Schoen was hired. That the entire process was a complete sham.

    It sounds like it’s not just a card in this instance. The Giants interviewed him 3 days after already deciding on Daboll. That is a complete sham.

    You’re right. Beane signs 35 year old receivers and hopes for them to outscore lightning fast receivers (Hill) and Hall of Fame TE’s (Kelce).

    I can absolutely dispute that They looked like trash against Tennessee and we’re lucky to win, and went down 21-3 to KC.

    Lazy take. Rings don’t make a QB great. If they did then Flacco is better than Kelly.

    The Bengals won today by (nearly, similarly) copying my defensive gameplan listed above. Instead of 2 DL and dropping 9 back, the Bengals employed 3 DL and dropped 8 back, with (I believe) the occasional 9th defender behind the LB POA. It held the Chiefs to 3 points in the second half. .
