    I wouldn’t be surprised if Elam is a party of one in that department. Maybe two.

    If Rhodes, at this point in his career, is a better i option then Elam, that gives me concern about Elam.

    Also a potential sign that Elam isn’t where the coaches want him to be.

    Sal just said on WGR that Elam looks to be a healthy scratch. Wow.

    “steps up in the pocket, guns one straight down the middle, looking for diggs, he makes the catch at the 40 yard line” Im glad I saw that on TV because Murph didn’t really explain how amazing that play was.

    Perhpas professional athletes have a better immune system, but if i’m sick on Tuesday, i’m still feeling some of the effects (mostly fatigue) on Thursday, even if i’m “better”.

    He has a chance to earn a big contract over the next 3 weeks. Hopefully he continues his dominant play.

    Losing close games isn’t a fluke when we have lost more than we have won over the last 2 years.

    The good thing is we now have the benefit of hindsight. And we can see that McDuffie has been playing like an absolute stud on the outside despite his perceived lack of length. He is just blanketing guys. That fits it ANY defense. There is no defense where a defender with incredible instincts and ability to “stick” to their receiver, isn’t valuable.

    Maybe you’re right. But the look on Beane and Grays faces when KC moved up was very interesting.

    McDuffie is playing outside right now and has excellent grading.

    Panic wasn’t the right word. What I meant was Beane probably thought, we either get Elam ASAP or just trade down. I think their hearts were set on McDuffie and another team made the move to get him.

    I’ll be shocked if the game isn’t moved to Saturday night.

    I still think the Bills wanted McDuffie and we’re downright shocked when KC traded up in front of us, so they panicked and moved to get Elam, who they said was their last player left with a 1st round grade. I remember the draft day video where Beane looked shell shocked when it happened and Terrance Gray whispered to Beane “they traded up in front of us”.
