    If Davis is “open” with a safety in front of him and one step on a CB, then what is this WR (in red)?

    He had a step yes. But its an incredibly difficult throw with safety in front and a CB a step behind. The throw has to be literal perfection. One step behind and its intercepted by the CB. A pace or two not far enough and hte safety intercepts it. And if Davis is open ,then the WR on the other side of the field was WIDE open.

    If you think a safety in front of him and CB behind him = open .... then okay, we can agree to disagree. It will also mean that Allen has been missing "open" receivers all season. Since guys are that type of "open" all year. It also means that the WR on the right side of the field was WIDEEEEEE open.

    Here a video of the play again. It’s okay to say Josh messed up. We don’t always have to defend everything he does.

    No he wasn't. The safety literally never moved toward Diggs at all. He stayed right in the intermediate zone the entire time. No he didn't. Davis never got open until the ball was intercepted.

    Its an overreaction to say theyre playing today like an WIldcard loss team? We have 1 TD on offense and have given up 2 TDs to one of the worst offenses in the league. What have you seen today that says we are a legit contender?

    yeah but I dont think he was actually trying to throw it, just pretending to hold off the defense

    Really wish Allen would just run instead of stopping and pretending to throw. I know he's trying to slow defenders down, but he's slowing himself down too.

    That would mean we would be going to Cinci in a divisional round matchup. Doubt we want that.

    Its bad bad. I'm guessing they know its not getting back until the offseason.

    The run works because we pass so much. Its not because our o-line is great run blockers.

    This is a terrible, terrible look going into the playoffs. New England has one of the WORST red-zone offenses in the entire NFL. Yet theyre walkig down the field on us, and scoring.
