Normally i’d agree, but in this particular situation, the OP’s photo really does tell the truth. The Bills lined up 10 yards off the ball and never moved. Even after the snap. Tre only moved after the ball was caught. So incredibly easy to beat. Here is a photo after the snap.

That was the play that made me realize; “there really are fans that know more than NFL coaches”.

I know the Pro Bowl is nonsense, but that’s still remarkable. I don’t think we even went 4 years without drafting a Pro-Bowler during the drought, did we?

A lot of people raved about Rousseau and Oliver this season. I didn’t see it.

All out of patience. We are HALF A DECADE into Allen's career. No more patience left. We can't waste his career having patience.- 110 replies

I'm saying if you don't win the Super Bowl, you receive the same "nothing" that everyone else got. Our 13-3 season had the same prize as the Texans 3-13-1 season.
-
Another defensive timeout yesterday that was immediately followed up by a big offensive play (first down). I hope someone compiles some stats on our timeout usage at some point.
-
Why? The entire point of a season is to Win the Super Bowl. If you don't win it, the only thing you accomplished is lowering your draft choice.

1) We didn't lose due to the snow. We lost because we got dominated in the trenches. 2) It was embarrassing hearing the loud "who dey" chants.

Saffold said guys were "exhausted" this week and "out of gas"
Einstein replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mentioned this in a thread about a month ago. Something seems "off". No idea what it is, but its not JUST bad play. There is a "feeling" (for lack of better word) that this team lost. -

Saffold was a bad signing from the start. Beane needs to stop building a line from the scrap heap.- 310 replies

I'll repeat the last sentence in that post you quoted: "Could the coaches have made better decisions to make it a bit closer? Sure. But the reason we lost is the Bengals are better."
-
Ouch. “Guys were exhausted during the week and our coaches did the best they could try to modify the week . . . but there was just uncharacteristic things that were kind of happening . . . I have to kind of put that into effect and not as an excuse just this team has been fighting for so long and fighting through all of this adversity you almost run out of gas at some point,” Saffold said https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/23/rodger-saffold-on-bills-loss-you-almost-run-out-of-gas-at-some-point/

Yesterdays game was not about the coaches. We were simply outmatched. Physically. The talent discrepancy was glaring. Could the coaches have made better decisions to make it a bit closer? Sure. But the reason we lost is the Bengals are better.

Josh looked really defeated in his press conference.

The SF coach is just beyond excellent. His decision making bad play calling is top notch. -
Perhaps someone lacking eyesight. More likely, it was a ranking based on statistically measurable outcomes like 4th down awareness (when to go for it etc) which is about .001% of overall situational awareness.
-
I don’t care who made that ranking but it certainly can’t be game awareness.

great point

And linemen.

I mentioned this another thread too, but Beane has done a solid job of stocking the team with “good” players. But very very very few “elite” players. We have no Bosa’s, or Watts, or Chris Jones etc. And he doesn’t seem to want to give up draft assets to acquire an elite asset like McAffrey.

I’ve long said that Beane has done a good job at picking “good” players but he lacks “elite” players.
