  1. The worst part of that was watching Andy Reid practically mock us on national TV the following weekend by playing press man coverage on nearly every Cinci throwing down and shutting down their potent offense. It’s like Reid was saying: “watch this McDermott - THIS is how it’s done” Brutal
  2. It’s not just the Cinci game. We BARELY beat a THIRD STRING QB led Miami team… at home…in the cold! I don’t care that it was fumbles or ST’s that kept them in the game. It’s all part of the team and game. The team overall looked lethargic since the GB game in October. Losing to Zach Wilson was an absolute punch in the gut. We were not even close to a top 5 team the last 2 months of the season.
  3. Just checked out the Broncos forum and in particular a thread titled “What is everyone’s thoughts on Jerry Jeudy?” It’s from this season, so they’ve been watching him for 2.5 seasons at the point the thread was written. The most liked comment was: “Runs a beautiful route, but can’t catch the ball.” Another poster replied: “…Wilson’s been awful, but that doesn’t excuse the judges inability to catch any balls in traffic…” To which another poster said: “Yep, anytime a defender is within arms length he drops it”. Another poster chimes in: “The drops are one thing but he can figure it out. What irritates me is how he never makes plays on the ball…” Another poster quips: “Beautiful routes. Butterfull hands.” As the avalanche of negative reports raged on, one poster says: “Believed his own hype, will never live up to it.” Another says: “Actually worried he’s a bust with consistent drops and overall contribution to the offense.” The second to last post I read said: “should be traded before the league finds out how overrated he is” All is not lost though. One positive poster replies: “…He’s the type of player that will head to somewhere like Pittsburgh or Buffalo where the coach knows how to get the most out of him and will be very successful.” YIKES! link Edit: the rest of the comments get even worse: ”He’s a bust” ”It’s been 3 years. He’s a first round pick. He’s a bust.” ”Trade him to Green Bay please” ”He’s a bust. That might sound harsh but on a good team he’s probably WR3 or worse.” “Trade him and see what we can get for him”
  4. Good players rise to the top regardless. Lee Evans put up good numbers even with JP Losman. There is a reason why one of the greatest offensive minds in the NFL is open to trading him. And it’s not because he’s super good but QB is holding him back.
  5. Probably. But now we have real NFL data. We dont need to rely on draft reports anymore.
  6. I’m flabbergasted at the number of posters willing to give up a 1st round pick for a WR that has shown nothing but averageness thus far in his career.
  7. Here is what I wrote about him last month: G Isaac Seumalo - A lisfranc injury ended his 2021 and some people thought he might be a post June 1 cut, but he has had a really solid 2022 season. Philly papers say he is the most underrated player on a great Philly o-line and is the glue of the line. He is 29 years old and his estimated market value is $12M per season. Can't imagine why he would leave Philly or Philly would let him walk after the season they and he just had but Super Bowl teams typically have to make hard choices. https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/245851-looking-at-our-options-to-rebuild-the-o-line-in-2023/#comment-8262977
  8. Saints team knows him better than anyone and didn't keep him despite being thin at WR. Saint's fans know him better than any other fans and LAUGHED at us for signing him to that amount of money. The team and fans that know him best say "nay".
  9. If history is any predictor then Harty will be in the rehab room, so hopefully Shakir has it covered.
  10. The Jets defense is LOADED. I have no doubt they will be the #1 defense in the NFL next year. All Rodgers needs to do is score 20 points and they’ll win at least 10 games.
  11. Im very happy that he is healthy. As far as football is concerned, he was often missing tackles, taking bad angles and slow to react. So yeah, i’m with your assessment.
  12. Yeah Pacheco looks great. The rich get richer.
  13. I think it’s a pretty fair bet that Mahomes has 3 rings before Allen even gets to appear in 1 Super Bowl. And that’s not due to any fault of Allen’s.
  14. Shoen and Daboll are doing a great job.
  15. The Bengals got better but I would not have wanted Orlando Brown at that price. Overrated.
  16. That’s a certified thread ender right there. Well done.
  17. This is a great point. It would be the greatest failure in Bills franchise history if we end up wasting Josh Allen’s career. Imagine waiting all that time for a franchise QB, only to settle for participation trophies (divisional round games) and then being told to appreciate it. Nah.
  18. I think a lot of this depends on where an individual poster is in their life. For me, nothing short of a SB appearance matters. We have not been in a SB in nearly 30 years. There are people performing surgery that have never seen the Bills in a Super Bowl. Personally, the AFC East titles mean nothing to me.
  19. Doesn’t sound like they saw him play much since he was injured a lot.
  20. How did you do during the drought years?
  21. Sorry if it came off that way. I was just being playful.
  22. Until Week 5 you mean? The last 12 weeks of the season we were no where near the best team.
  23. I think that’s a fair opinion to have. Beane definitely turned the roster from perennial 7-9 team to a contender every year. That being said, THIS off-season he’s done pretty much nothing to improve the team so the title of this thread just doesn’t make much sense.
  24. 5 NFCCG and a SB is a lot different than 1 AFCCG and no SB.
