  1. I guess I don’t see how we’ve gotten better? We have lost Edmunds, likely Poyer, Hyde is coming off of a serious injury… where have we gotten better?
  2. The Bills ran for over 100 yards on them in the playoffs last year. including the game-winning first down. I don’t think that was lost on Miami.
  3. if you believe the bills have a Super Bowl roster and are as good as any team in the NFL then I assume you must be on the fire McDermott bandwagon. Because he hasn’t been able to get them to actually harness that power into a Super Bowl appearance. only so long people can say well they made mistakes, without looking at the person who is responsible for getting the team to not make mistakes
  4. So because I can see the Dolphins got better and that’s not good for the Bills, that means I should become a Dolphins fan? Not following the logic.
  5. Our QB’s record against a roster that no longer exists irrelevant. That’s like saying “what is Belichick’s record against the Bills” and being scared of the Patriots next year. Our QB against Tua and their current roster is 0-0. His record against Tua and their roster last year was 1-1.
  6. Their non-legit QB beat us. Not sure if you forgot about that but it happened. They have improved at DC, LB and CB. And there is still more time and draft picks to go. You can downplay Miami all you want but they’re good.
  7. Just saw that Ben Powers signed in Denver for only $12M per year. That sucks so much. He is a great linemen and getting better. Would have loved to have him here.
  8. It gets you an almost win, which means nothing. But then you significantly improve and that “almost” turns it to “actual win”.
  9. Yeah but you were talking about big deal signings. Not small extensions. The bills have not committed significant resources in free agency towed their offensive line in five offseasons. It’s just brutal. Only when you’re talking about whether the bills have committed significant resources towards rebuilding the line - This is not a rebuild the line move. This is a stop-gap move. I would love for them to go after someone like Ben Powers
  10. Then their backup comes in and almost beats us lol.
  11. Yeah but that’s how football works. The team that makes less mistakes is typically compromised of better players. We were the better team last year but it was close. And the Dolphins have gotten significantly better this off-season.
  12. Ive been telling people that. This is a bottom of the barrel move. He is starting to show his age and he’s 33. Not good.
  13. He was cleared like a month and a half ago. Just FYI. Not that it matters. They took us down to the wire, in our house, in the playoffs, with their 3rd string backup.
  14. That's a good point. Well they’re making the most of it.
  15. I know that it’s hard to believe (time flies) but we did those things 5 offseasons ago. The team has not put big resources into offensive line in half a decade… Despite having one of the best QB’s in the league. Its mind-boggling. I did a review of the top 15-20 o-linemen available in free agency in another thread and this McGovern wasn’t even on the radar of any source I researched. His namesake in NY was, but not him.
  16. It sucks, but it’s true. The Dolphins are making very impactful moves. It may hurt them in a year or two but they will be an absolute force next year. Considering they took us down to the wire 3 times last year (including one time with a third string QB), it’s not great news to see them getting better.
  17. You underestimate Long. He is a very good player that is still young.
  18. Guess it doesn’t matter since I see the Dolphins just signed him. Fug.
  19. He is a guy at the end of his career and has begun showing signs of fading. Enough of the geriatric players. Much rather have Long who is only 26.
  20. We’re really scraping the bottom of the barrel aren't we.
  21. I was just joking because you said 50k per punt is more than people make in a year. Just being playful.
  22. Much of it is due to the fact that the people who are willing to be involved in such surveys have plenty of size and confidence about that size. Therefore, skewed results. It also doesnt help that some of these studies use self-reported measurements. Yeah... i'm sure those are totally accurate.
  23. Yep you caught me before I deleted it haha Oh well!
