When healthy, do you believe he is a top 10 interior d-linemen?
-
That's what capco did in his example. The signing bonus is prorated over the entire contract, leaving only $1M base this year.
-
4 year, $60M extension coming for Gabe?
-
She responded earlier in the thread and said "great".
-
That's not common knowledge and you have zero proof of it lol. You're just making it up.
-
It's common knowledge the inner workings of the Bills? i'd say its the complete opposite. They keep a very tight lip ship.
-
Did you bother to read the post I was responding to?
-
"No one else wants him sir" "Great, give him a big contract extension" Sounds like something the drought-era Bills would do.
-
I honestly dont know. I'm just saying, it's not like we haven't seen plenty of examples of front offices doing things the coach doesnt agree with. Part of me wonders whether McD is actually in charge. But in that scenario, does Beane approve of this deal?
-
Based on? Are you in the front office?
-
Not sure how you infer that. Coaches and front offices disagree all the time. The Titans front office literally traded WR AJ Brown to Philly last year despite Head Coach Vrabel railing against it. After AJ Brown went off the next season, they fired the GM for making the wrong choice and Vrabel got a status boost.

Say it louder for those in the back
-
Based on what? I've always been skeptical that McD is the real boss.
-
That's great, but unfortunately the season is more than 1 week long.

Signing an average DT that gives us the same production that Oliver does for less money would also keep it stable.
-
I'm trying not to lose my mind. *calm thoughts, Einstein, calm thoughts*
-
I am completely shocked by this. I just ... do not understand it. Give me 30 year old Hopkins over what Oliver has given us thus far. Edit: or Edmunds!

Not really. The Bills used him less and less as the season went on. The first 6 games of the season, Elam averaged 81% of the defensive snaps. The last 6 games of the season, Elam averaged 35.1% of the defensive, and was a healthy inactive in one of those games. -

That article literally shared 0 proof. Not a single quote, insider tip, nothing. It was even published while Ralph was ALIVE! You also completely ignore the no-move clause in the Bills lease that ran another half decade after Ralph died. -

I really don't know that Bon Jovi and Rogers would have moved the team. I suppose he could have, but even years after (when there was no benefit for him to continue lying) he continuously said the plan was to keep the team in Buffalo and he was planning on buying a house here, etc. Perhaps he is just a pathological liar who continues to lie when there is nothing left for him to gain, but evidence points toward the "Bon Jovi will move the team" rumors to be an orchestrated public relations campaign by another bidder. There was a report that one of the other bidders hired Michael Caputo, a Buffalo public relations consultant, and told him to start the rumor that Bon Jovi would move the team. Caputo was apparently the one who started the initial email list of over 15,000 names to push back on Bon Jovi. -
D-line coach Eric Washington’s comments on Ed Oliver — hoo boy

Fair point. And I agree. That's not what I said though. At all. My point was, based on the ideology of certain posters and their tendencies to excuse-away anything even remotely critical, EVEN IF a coach were to blare into a megaphone "the player sucks", they still wouldn't believe it. -

If a player can't play year 1, then they shouldn't be a 1st round pick. -

I'm not even sure we can call it 3 excellent games. Everyone remembers the 2 toe-tap catches in the first half against Indi. But no one seems to remember he only had 1 (ONE) reception the entire second half, in a game that we almost lost. That's no excellent game in my opinion. He has 2 excellent playoff games, 1 mediocre playoff game, and 3 BAD playoff games. -

Then you have a very different definition of "clutch" than many of us. If you are not consistent, you can not be clutch. To be clutch, is to be consistent in key moments. So Gabe is "clutch" because of 1.5 good games? -

It's impossible to be "clutch" if you're not consistent. It's an oxymoron. Brady was clutch because he was so consistently good at the end of games.
