  1. Slim pickings available this year. We missed a golden opportunity to pick up o-line talent last offseason.
  2. I’d trade 5 stanley cups for 1 lombardi.
  3. Our media really is gutless. I remember one teams reporters actually mocked our reporters (2021 season?) for the softball questions. Maybe it was the Boston reporters? Anyone remember?
  4. I am not in favor of tearing down. In fact I posted yesterday that coaching was not the biggest problem on Sunday, and I fully believe that. But that doesn’t mean we should have patience. Patience should be gone. This staff should feel the pressure to do better. Giving them an “out” by saying we should be patient is the wrong way, in my opinion.
  5. This is the type of conservative thinking that needs to go away in the coaching staff. Its the playoffs. Win or go home. You’re already down a score and they’re about to score again. You have to take chances.
  6. I’ve been beating that drum all year. Chuck the WR’s more! Especially on a blitz. When a QB is blitzed they’re looking for a quick throw. Chucking the receivers and playing sticky makes their job much more difficult and with a pass rush coming agree him.
  7. It’s McD’s philosophy as much as Frazier’s. Play it safe, guard the sticks, make a sound tackle that keeps them a yard short, etc.
  8. White had a chance to save the 3rd down conversion despite the horrible play call, but yah he whiffed on that tackle.
  9. Normally i’d agree, but in this particular situation, the OP’s photo really does tell the truth. The Bills lined up 10 yards off the ball and never moved. Even after the snap. Tre only moved after the ball was caught. So incredibly easy to beat. Here is a photo after the snap.
  10. That was the play that made me realize; “there really are fans that know more than NFL coaches”.
  11. I know the Pro Bowl is nonsense, but that’s still remarkable. I don’t think we even went 4 years without drafting a Pro-Bowler during the drought, did we?
  12. A lot of people raved about Rousseau and Oliver this season. I didn’t see it.
  13. All out of patience. We are HALF A DECADE into Allen's career. No more patience left. We can't waste his career having patience.
  14. I'm saying if you don't win the Super Bowl, you receive the same "nothing" that everyone else got. Our 13-3 season had the same prize as the Texans 3-13-1 season.
  15. Another defensive timeout yesterday that was immediately followed up by a big offensive play (first down). I hope someone compiles some stats on our timeout usage at some point.
  16. Why? The entire point of a season is to Win the Super Bowl. If you don't win it, the only thing you accomplished is lowering your draft choice.
  17. 1) We didn't lose due to the snow. We lost because we got dominated in the trenches. 2) It was embarrassing hearing the loud "who dey" chants.
  18. I mentioned this in a thread about a month ago. Something seems "off". No idea what it is, but its not JUST bad play. There is a "feeling" (for lack of better word) that this team lost.
  19. Saffold was a bad signing from the start. Beane needs to stop building a line from the scrap heap.
  20. I'll repeat the last sentence in that post you quoted: "Could the coaches have made better decisions to make it a bit closer? Sure. But the reason we lost is the Bengals are better."
  21. Ouch. “Guys were exhausted during the week and our coaches did the best they could try to modify the week . . . but there was just uncharacteristic things that were kind of happening . . . I have to kind of put that into effect and not as an excuse just this team has been fighting for so long and fighting through all of this adversity you almost run out of gas at some point,” Saffold said https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/23/rodger-saffold-on-bills-loss-you-almost-run-out-of-gas-at-some-point/
  22. Yesterdays game was not about the coaches. We were simply outmatched. Physically. The talent discrepancy was glaring. Could the coaches have made better decisions to make it a bit closer? Sure. But the reason we lost is the Bengals are better.
