  1. His numbers per snaps with the BILLS, were higher than every other WR on the team. When he saw the field in a Bills uniform, he put up greater numbers than every other WR on the Bills squad per snap. And its not as if we have Cinci's WR core. We have a middling WR group outside of Diggs. The idea that Hodgins shouldn't have seen the field because McKenzie or Kumerow or Davis is silly to me. And the numbers prove it.
  2. See my post above. He had more receptions and more yards per snap (opportunity) than every WR on the Bills (when with the Bills). If you include his Giants time, he has more receptions and more yards per reception than every WR on the Bills except Diggs.
  3. Is he though? Based on what? Just because the coaches wouldn't give him an opportunity? Look at what he did when he got an opportunity... Hodgins: 0.3 receptions, 2.5 yards per snap Diggs: 0.1 receptions, 1.7 yards per snap Davis: 0.05 receptions, 0.9 yard per snap McKenzie: 0.07 receptions, 0.9 yard per snap Per snap in Buffalo (opportunity), Hodgins outperformed EVERY RECEIVER (at the least the top 4) on the team! What more did he need to do in order to receive a greater opportunity? When given a very limited chance, he performed. So how can we say he is an average WR? Based on what exactly? ------ Edited to add: if you include his Giants statistics per snap, his numbers go down a bit with a much larger snap count, but it STILL outperforms all but Diggs on a per-snap basis.
  4. Kinda hard to have better than 4 for 42 when the coaching staff isn’t playing you.
  5. There is definitely some smoke here. Not sure what the issue is but there is definitely a problem.
  6. It is fair. - Belichick won 3 COTY awards while never having a losing season. - Vrabel won COTY while after a AFCCG season. - Harbaugh won COTY after a 10-6 season. - McVay won CTOY while going to the Super Bowl.
  7. Sometimes. But Belichick has also won coach of the year 3 times during the Patriots dynasty reign. They were never bad
  8. Daboll won an award in his first year that Mcd hasn’t in 6 tries.
  9. Hello Guilio. I am 6 foot, 300lbs. Not listing my name, simply because I don't want anyone Google'ing me . I am a CEO and I played football at a competitive level in my younger years but my body feels old now, though my brain does not. I have a home in NY and another in Florida.
  10. Which, to most people, would mean less (as far as heartbreak goes) than a parent or grandmother dying. PS, she was at PSE every day. Not One Bills Drive. PSE is in downtown Buffalo.
  11. I think if we’re all being honest we noticed him go back to rookie season Groot when Von went down.
  12. Thank you for the gentle reminder. I will say a prayer for your wife right now.
  13. This honestly has nothing to do with the Bills play on the field and correlating it is kind-of gross. Yes, Kim was loved. But players often have their best games and seasons after their parent has died. Or grandmother. Or owner (in the case of Myra Kraft).
  14. I too think the Bills win the SB last year if not for 13 Seconds. That was our season. It was ours for the taking. And we blew it.
  15. You don’t see a difference between Josh Allen and Nick Foles?
  16. The Athletic is struggling and needs its reporters to constantly advertise, advertise, advertise. They burned through $95M in 2019 and 2020 and they lost over $50M in 2021. The NY Times had to bail them out in 2022, but they're still losing money (they were $20M in the red as of the second quarter of this year). That has turned many reporters, including Joe B, into clickbait monsters. Go to his Twitter page and you will see him post the same mundane article 3, 4, 5 times in an effort to get people to click it. Its clear that The Athletic and NYT are pushing their reporters to be advertisers. And that's never good IMO. I wouldn't say he is a "has been", but his stuff was significantly better (again, in my opinion) prior to his days at The Athletic. And its hard not to laugh when the same people who disparage PFF, tout Joe B's breakdowns. Because, yeah, i'm sure the former radio telephone operator has a more nuanced view of the game than former players, coaches, and scouts who work for PFF.
  17. I choose not to participate in the sore loser cheating stuff.
  18. A bit of context is needed here... Pederson won a Super Bowl with a BACKUP QUARTERBACK, then went 9-7 with a backup QB (because Wentz can't stay healthy). And he went 4-11 in a season where 4 of his 5 offensive linemen went to IR, their secondary was decimated (sound familiar?) and they let numerous players go in free agency (Howie was already starting the rebuild). Doug Peterson had 3 winning seasons and a Lombardi Trophy with Carson Wentz and Nick Foles as his QB's. That alone is incredible. McDermott on the other hand has always had Allen under center since 2019.
  19. I do admit I miss the days where we had true rivalries and teams couldn't stand each other. Remember Cox flipping off our fans heading into (out of?) the tunnel?
  20. I don't agree. If I did my maths properly, Belichick is 100-41 (70.9 win %) against the AFC East and 189-76 (71.3 win %) against the rest of the NFL (including the postseason). He dominated everyone, and he dominated teams outside the AFC East moreso than the teams inside it.
  21. People have made this argument for a long time but Brady signed at least his first contract extension before marrying Giselle. Brady just cared more about winning than he did being the richest player. Gotta admire that. Yep. Brady was incredibly generous to the Patriots. It would be awesome if Allen did the same, but again, I don't blame him.
  22. I don't blame Allen for taking the money he could get, but it would have been great if he didn't. Brady never received more than $19M per year with the Patriots and most years were around $15M. Allen got $46M last year, and he averages $35M per year over the next 4 years. Brady allowed the Patriots to have a ton more money to work with.
  23. I was moreso talking about Belichick. I don't take exceptions to the rule (Walsh) to be the rule. I also don't give Walsh incredible recognition for drafting Montana. If he thought he was going to be an all-time great, he wouldn't have waited until the 3rd round. He got lucky. Like the Patriots did with Brady.
