  1. It wasn't the last month or so though. It was since October. The extenuating circumstance stuff is just excuses. The co-owner was ill when the Bills were smoking the Rams on national TV to open the season and embarrassing the Titans on MNF. The game being moved to Detroit due to snow had zero effect on how the season played out or the loss in the playoffs and that's a good thing, considering we play in Buffalo. The ONLY extenuating circumstance even remotely plausible is Damar. But even that's nonsense considering athletes often have their best performances after loved ones die. Remember Tiger Woods winning the major after his Dad's passing? Allen throwing for 3(?) TD's after his grandma passing? Brett Favre throwing for 4 TD's after his father passed? etc. The extenuating circumstance stuff is just excuses. The team hadn't looked like a top 5 team since October. The playoff loss really wasn't all that surprising considering their play the 2-3 months preceding it.
  2. What about the Jets game? Vikings game? Barely beating Detroit? Miami put up over 400 yards against us just a few weeks prior to the playoff game? We were also about to be blown out in Cinci. Remember Cinci carving up our defense down the field and they were driving with ease again before Damar got hurt and the game was ended. To frame a conversation with the context that it was just the Cinci or Miami game is not intellectually honest. The team STRUGGLED for much of the last 2/3rd’s of the season.
  3. So what? The QB fumbling and passes bouncing off receivers and ST miscues are all part of bad team play. The team did not look right since October but you keep ignoring that point
  4. I won't pretend to know anything about him from watching him personally, but his scouting report actually means his lack of agility and athleticism.
  5. Well, he does have the size McBeane likes. Not sure he has the athleticism though.
  6. It was the first result in the google search. Interesting indeed! Speaking of agenda, even your thread example has plenty of Broncos fans saying to trade him. It's about 50/50, which is better than the early season thread (which was 90% doom) but it still shows a fan base that has watched him for 3 straight years and are divided on whether he is any good. That's who you want to spend a 1st round pick on. I love how the most liked response to the pro-keep-him crowd is "It’s crazy how a guy who was mediocre for 2.5 seasons is now seen as untouchable". Indeed. Thankfully, I don't think Beane is stupid enough to make this trade anyway. You also ignored the point about one of the best offensive minds in the NFL being willing to trade him.
  7. The fans who have watched him for 2.5 years don’t know what they’re talking about? Okay then…
  8. I included one of the very few positive comments about him in that post you quoted. I also included the link to the forum so you can see for yourself.
  9. The worst part of that was watching Andy Reid practically mock us on national TV the following weekend by playing press man coverage on nearly every Cinci throwing down and shutting down their potent offense. It’s like Reid was saying: “watch this McDermott - THIS is how it’s done” Brutal
  10. It’s not just the Cinci game. We BARELY beat a THIRD STRING QB led Miami team… at home…in the cold! I don’t care that it was fumbles or ST’s that kept them in the game. It’s all part of the team and game. The team overall looked lethargic since the GB game in October. Losing to Zach Wilson was an absolute punch in the gut. We were not even close to a top 5 team the last 2 months of the season.
  11. Just checked out the Broncos forum and in particular a thread titled “What is everyone’s thoughts on Jerry Jeudy?” It’s from this season, so they’ve been watching him for 2.5 seasons at the point the thread was written. The most liked comment was: “Runs a beautiful route, but can’t catch the ball.” Another poster replied: “…Wilson’s been awful, but that doesn’t excuse the judges inability to catch any balls in traffic…” To which another poster said: “Yep, anytime a defender is within arms length he drops it”. Another poster chimes in: “The drops are one thing but he can figure it out. What irritates me is how he never makes plays on the ball…” Another poster quips: “Beautiful routes. Butterfull hands.” As the avalanche of negative reports raged on, one poster says: “Believed his own hype, will never live up to it.” Another says: “Actually worried he’s a bust with consistent drops and overall contribution to the offense.” The second to last post I read said: “should be traded before the league finds out how overrated he is” All is not lost though. One positive poster replies: “…He’s the type of player that will head to somewhere like Pittsburgh or Buffalo where the coach knows how to get the most out of him and will be very successful.” YIKES! link Edit: the rest of the comments get even worse: ”He’s a bust” ”It’s been 3 years. He’s a first round pick. He’s a bust.” ”Trade him to Green Bay please” ”He’s a bust. That might sound harsh but on a good team he’s probably WR3 or worse.” “Trade him and see what we can get for him”
  12. Good players rise to the top regardless. Lee Evans put up good numbers even with JP Losman. There is a reason why one of the greatest offensive minds in the NFL is open to trading him. And it’s not because he’s super good but QB is holding him back.
  13. Probably. But now we have real NFL data. We dont need to rely on draft reports anymore.
  14. I’m flabbergasted at the number of posters willing to give up a 1st round pick for a WR that has shown nothing but averageness thus far in his career.
  15. Here is what I wrote about him last month: G Isaac Seumalo - A lisfranc injury ended his 2021 and some people thought he might be a post June 1 cut, but he has had a really solid 2022 season. Philly papers say he is the most underrated player on a great Philly o-line and is the glue of the line. He is 29 years old and his estimated market value is $12M per season. Can't imagine why he would leave Philly or Philly would let him walk after the season they and he just had but Super Bowl teams typically have to make hard choices. https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/245851-looking-at-our-options-to-rebuild-the-o-line-in-2023/#comment-8262977
  16. Saints team knows him better than anyone and didn't keep him despite being thin at WR. Saint's fans know him better than any other fans and LAUGHED at us for signing him to that amount of money. The team and fans that know him best say "nay".
  17. If history is any predictor then Harty will be in the rehab room, so hopefully Shakir has it covered.
  18. The Jets defense is LOADED. I have no doubt they will be the #1 defense in the NFL next year. All Rodgers needs to do is score 20 points and they’ll win at least 10 games.
  19. Im very happy that he is healthy. As far as football is concerned, he was often missing tackles, taking bad angles and slow to react. So yeah, i’m with your assessment.
  20. I think it’s a pretty fair bet that Mahomes has 3 rings before Allen even gets to appear in 1 Super Bowl. And that’s not due to any fault of Allen’s.
  21. Shoen and Daboll are doing a great job.
  22. The Bengals got better but I would not have wanted Orlando Brown at that price. Overrated.
  23. That’s a certified thread ender right there. Well done.
